I joined Debbie's classes after a long break from Pilates, and I'm so glad I did. The small class size means Debbie can give personal attention to everyone, and any corrections are always explained clearly. The Pilates library is an added bonus—it allows me to focus on specific areas whenever I need to, and it's especially helpful when I'm on holiday. There's also the option to join the virtual class if you're unable to attend in person, which is incredibly convenient. I highly recommend Debbie's classes!

After suffering an excruciating and sudden attack of back pain early this year and trying extensive physiotherapy with little success, I finally found Carlo and Debbie who have both been fantastic in supporting my recovery. I had several sessions with Carlo who fully explained everything that he was doing, gave me extra exercises to do and helped me to feel less anxious about moving more freely. I then moved on to sessions with Debbie who was very knowledgeable, supportive and encouraging. Her thorough explanations of muscle engagement and the positioning of my body have enabled me to feel secure in undertaking Pilates as an exercise. They have both been fantastic and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I have suffered back pain for a number of years. I have been referred for physiotherapy a couple of times. My last physiotherapist recommended Pilates as one of my main problems was a weak core. I took no notice as usual until this year when bouts of severe, debilitating pain became more frequent. So, I finally followed the advice I’d been given and contacted Debbie. I can honestly say it’s the best thing I’ve done. It’s early days (12 sessions at time of writing), but there has already been a vast improvement. Debbie has not only taught me the Pilates basics, but shown me how to use certain techniques to reduce muscle pain should it strike. She’s very knowledgable, very patient and always ensuring I don’t do things that may aggravate by back problem. As well as helping with my pain, Pilates under Debbie’s tutelage has improved my general movement and given me more energy. My only regret is that I didn’t do this years ago.

Following a Morton’s Neuroma diagnosis, my specialist foot and ankle consultant advised me to take up Pilates and continue on long term course of stretching and improving flexibility – the alternative was surgery which did not appeal in the least. I therefore subscribed to Dore Health and began my one to one beginner’s course under Debbie’s wonderful guidance.
It soon became apparent there was a lot of work to do, however the results were quick to see with immediate improvement on just day to day tasks and ease of movement – this was perhaps the biggest unexpected surprise of all, of just how soon the benefits could be felt.
I have now completed my beginner’s course and immediately enrolled for an ongoing programme, and I look forward to ever improving results which as highlighted, are literally apparent week by week if not day by day. Thank you Debbie for your excellent coaching and I look forward to ongoing support.

A lifting injury 6 /7 years ago left me with a lower back weakness on one side.
Newly-retired last year I wanted to find a more local and convenient Osteopath to help keep me fully functioning all year round. So, when my back 'popped' again causing me a lot of pain it was Carlo Dore who managed to get me back on the road again and continues to be my go-to professional.
Separately, I had been professionally advised that clinical Pilates would be helpful to pick up from where my gym membership had ceased. Again, looking for a locally based trainer I was signposted to Debbie Dore and have been having weekly 1:1 sessions with Debbie, Covid Lockdown permitting.
My osteo' sessions with Carlo will, on occasion, identify issues where Debbie's intervention in the form of an exercise or particular approach would prove beneficial to me.

Debbie has proved to be great support. Our sessions are a perfect blend of very focused training which is very motivational and sets goals as well as being fun, enabling this 67 year old bloke who is not as fit as he would like to be to begin a journey of continous improvement in my flexibility. It quite simply just gets better......!

Carlo and Debbie are surely the ideal professional partnership in really putting the 'C' is Complementary Health and I cannot recommend them more highly in their respective fields. Thank You both so much!

I have attended Debbie's Pilates Classes for over 3 years now, and will continue to do so. She is an excellent Pilates teacher, making sure that each participant gets the most out of the class. There is always a new variation to the excercises, which keeps classes fresh and exciting! Should one be in need of deeper body work, then Carlo is the person to see. My family and I have had many treatments with Carlo, who pays great attention to his client's pains, and physical issues, also suggesting supportive exercises one can do at home. Debbie and Carlo Dore are a great team, and I highly recommend them for everyone's wellbeing!

Debbie is a fantastic Pilates teacher. I first started working with Debbie 1:1 after a slipped disc, she slowly and safely got me moving again, to the point I’ve been able to return to playing hockey and can move better than I think I’ve ever been able to! Having never tried Pilates before my back issues, it really can be transformative and Debbie has been an amazing partner in my recovery, I’ve recently joined her online zoom classes and I can’t recommend her highly enough.
