Brilliant doctors and staff when you get an appointment but horrendous system.

They only offer same day appointments / telephone calls. I was in a phone queue for 2 hours to be told that all appointments had done and I’d have to try again tomorrow.

Appalling since merging with another surgery. This practice never recovered from covid and the receptionists seem to think they have more power than the GP's.
They cancel repeat prescriptions without letting you know or offering a medication review.
A recent visit where I was told to come in for a blood pressure check ended up with no check or examination. The doctor trying to prescribe something that I have had previously that doesn't agree with me and a conversation where he tried to get me to diagnose the problem myself! May as well have had one of their pointless telephone consultations. I have reported them to their governing bodies and after 55 years I'm off to find a surgery that actually cares for its patients.

Phoned reception for a repeat prescription. I was told I needed to write a letter requesting it. I questioned this and was told go online and email surgery. Went online to find you need to log in and if you don't have a log in contact reception. Lol
Why was this not mentioned when i spoke to them? Could not afford the time of queueing on the phone again as I had already waited from position 24 on the phone. Filled in a form online and sent it to medical centre. Received a text with a email to send request to. Emailed only to receive a response of, we will try to get back to you with a couple of days. Still no prescription.

Useless, Can't get seen, Can't get a prescription, Everytime you call, you get told they are all booked up and can't help, To call back at 8am monday - friday, The issue is, it's luck of the draw, every morning at 8am, The phone queue is full and it tells you try again later, You finally get through around 10am & they tell you you're too late. It's impossible to get help, So i'm stuck spending £16.00 every 2 days to treat my problem. Absolutely shocking and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Since they have merged these have become the worse, extremely rude receptionist who think they get to decide if you need treatment or not, that's if you can even get through. I've been told they don't treat pregnant women, they don't treat problems with veins and they don't treat limbs and that I need to seek private help and pay for it, all without talking to a doctor. And when you do finally get to talk to a doctor I got told the only way they could refer me for treatment is if I have a heart attack, well let's hope I survive that so the NHS can treat me.

Lovely doctors and nurses, but since Covid getting an appointment is near impossible. Even if you ring at 8am on the dot, you’re lucky to get into position 20+ in the queue. Never have any future appointments always same day which is a telephone call at a random time, not great for people who work full time and have things to do, would prefer to plan in ahead.

Absolutely shocking. Wouldn't sign up here if there are other options available. Been here all my life, very rarely help. Glorified Google browsers. We actually pay towards this service and they don't even have the decency to answer the phones. Not bothered at all about their patients
