Absolutely ridiculous.
Went for my initial podiatry appointment at my doctors surgery. Told me I needed an operation, booked me in and told me who it would be with. They told me I would receive a text confirmation.
The text confirmation stated the time, date and the location as ‘surgery’. I assume this referred to my doctors surgery as no other location was ever mentioned. I get there for my appointment and they tell me it doesn’t exist.
Apparently I was meant to go to st martins hospital, which nobody ever mentioned, and my appointment was not with the doctor they said it was.
I never received a letter even though they said they have sent one.
Thankfully one doctor has managed to squeeze me in so it’s not a day wasted.
Absolute mess.
