Thank you very much for taking a hedgehog in for me. I know from past experience that not all vets will do this and you were so kind. We are on holiday here so don't know what we would have done if you'd said no! Thank you for your care and compassion, and for letting me know he passed 48 hours later. I expected this outcome as he was so small for the time of year. Much nicer that he didn't die in the car park where we found him. Thank you for being so caring x

What an amazing Veterinary practice. We were on holiday in the area when our dog sustained a slip disc.....the care we recieved from the moment I phoned was wonderful .....special mention to vets Daisy and Jodie. There are vets at the practice in Alnwick overnight and weekends so I was able to speak to the same vet each time, as our dog was so poorly ....they had so much patience and understanding and were so caring, including the reception staff and out of hours phone line staff ....a huge thank you to all.

My dog hurt herself at the beach and my own vets wouldn't see her as I was too far away. I came into reception and the staff were really lovely and saw my girl straight away. Thank you so much ❤️❤️.

Cannot praise them enough, our dog became ill whilst on holiday, we phoned and where given an immediate appointment.
After a thorough examination, an injection and explanation from the vet as to what he had done , what to expect and what to do next we went on our way.
About 4 hours later improvement commenced and continued, now fully recovered pet.
Top service from receptionists, ladies on phones and the Vet, whose name I can’t remember.

We were on holiday and our dog Max became unwell and needed to see a vet so we attended the vets and explained what had occurred and the staff on reception couldn't have been nicer. We were very fortunate and an appointment was available within 30 mins and upon seeing the vet who was so kind, helpful and so very understanding we were given medication, advice and some examples of places to visit while in the area. We can not recommend them enough such kindness and support was given to us (and they made us laugh). A huge thank you from us to all the staff.
We are home now and Max is fully recovered and being his normal self ?

While on a holiday weekend one of our Border Collies hurt their leg playing on the beach.
We phoned the practice first thing Saturday morning and were given an appointment within 2 hours.
The lady in reception was very helpful, friendly and reassuring.
Upon arrival at Alnwick we found the vet's easily and the carpark spacious.
Our girl, Nell was booked in and we were actually seen before our given time. Now, Nell is quite anxious of strangers and for our sake and the vets we were given a muzzle for the examination.
Simon, the vet was very gentle and reassuring, Nell never even grumbled so we were quite relieved. We were issued with some pain relief for her leg, which made her more comfortable for the rest of the weekend,
If you're on holiday in the area and find yourselves in need of veterinary help then we would highly recommend you contact this practice, lovely people and place. Reasonable price too.

After the most horrific two days, I can’t thank Alnorthumbria Vets enough for the care, compassion and kindness shown to us and our dogs.

We made the decision to put our 13 year old boy to sleep which was hard enough. 20 hours later our 5 year old dog contracted an infection and died.

Unfortunately I can’t remember the names of any of the vets/other staff that we dealt with, it’s all a blur but without the staff at Alnorthumbria these last few days could have been even more horrific than they already were.

Thank you to all the staff for everything over the last few days.
