My son went to this nursery for 2 years and we couldn't be happier with the progress he made! A massive thank you to Alexandra, Elena, and the rest of the team. My son loved attending the nursery and they provided great support, activities, and his progress in language, writing, communicating, and general understanding progressed really well. The food options were varied and healthy.

The app was also a massive help as we were kept informed with updates, images, and his day to day progress.

Would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a place for their child.

I had a very concerning experience at this nursery that I believe parents should be aware of. My child was aggressively pushed to the ground by another child, nearly hitting her head on the edge of a large stone. This happened around 10 meters from where four staff members were standing, yet no one intervened to prevent it.

While one staff member may have initially apologized, the overall response was incredibly dismissive. Staff said, “He is special needs; he’s never done this before,” and left it at that. There was no meaningful accountability or action taken — in fact, one staff member hugged the child who pushed mine, which seemed to encourage the behavior rather than correct it.

When I expressed concern and suggested they explain to the child that the behavior was dangerous and unacceptable, upon discussing this one staff member became defensive and even raised their voice in front of the children — completely unprofessional.

The only staff member who showed genuine concern was an older woman who apologized multiple times and seemed to truly understand how serious the situation was. I really appreciated her approach — it stood in stark contrast to how the others handled it.

I would have preferred to raise this privately, but the nursery’s website doesn’t work. I’m sharing this here in hopes it will be taken seriously. This incident could have ended very differently, and it should not be dismissed so lightly.

We have had an excellent experience with Active Montessori. Alexandra and her team have made such a difference, right from helping my son settle in nursery to him doing things independently. Now as he goes to school, he will really miss his friends and teachers. We are so thankful to Active for giving my son the best nursery experience. I highly recommend Active Montessori to anyone looking for a nursery place for their child.

First of all I should thank each and every teacher in the ActiveMontessori Harrow, it was a wonderful journey for my baby. They take care of each and every child with care. Special thanks to Madam Elena, Madam Meena, Madam Leila and Madam Alexandra. All the teachers were so kind and polite with a smile on their face always , taking care of every child as their own child.

My baby was not eating eggs since he was born, but madam Meena was mentioning that he was trained and can eat eggs, was asking me to feed eggs at home…Everybody at home were surprised when my baby ayaan started eating eggs.

Ayaan was not potty trained until he was 3yrs 6 months old, due to other pressure…But teacher said “leave him with panties, we will takecare and train him. So you can continue at home. I have not seen any nursery being this much flexible and acting with full responsibility to help the parents raise the child and build their good habits. Eventually, he was potty trained and all the credits goes to the teachers at Active Montessori Harrow.

Overall , the head teacher madam Alexandra , was always easy to approach and discuss about anything , being very flexible wherever possible to assist the parents.

We are heavy heartedly , leaving this nursery just because we are moving out of Harrow for good. We are really grateful and million thanks to all teachers at the nursery ‘Active Montessori Harrow’. My child Ayaan and we (parents) will definitely miss the fabulous teachers at this wonderful nursery !!

My daughter had a hard time settling in at first, but Alexandra and her team, especially Ms. Elena, were incredibly patient and supportive, helping her adjust beautifully. Their care and dedication made her first school experience in London truly special, and I’m grateful for the positive impact they had on her early development. I had an unpleasant experience with this nursery. Alexandra made me think that my child has special needs, when my child only needed guidance and empathy. Every day when I was picking him up , they had something to say, I was always available and open minded, we are doing our best as parents…He was excluded from nursery in the middle of the year, just before Christmas (best Christmas present) saying that they cannot deal with him because he is running around …I thought they were right, I blamed me and my child. But here we are ,one year later, my child is going to another brilliant nursery, he is happy, thriving and very active! I couldn’t be more happy! So If you experience complaints from this nursery about your parenting or your child ,
,just find another place… don’t hire therapist like I did (who told me that my child is active / normal and I shouldn't pay sessions for nothing) ,don’t blame your child or yourself! My child , even to this day, a year since he left , when we are passing by, he is saying that he doesn't want to go there...I would call that a trauma. How would nurseries look like if all of them would reject children who eat sugar, run, throw away toys and have anxious parents? Empty and quiet...

Active Montessori was like second family for my son and for us.
We have always been treated with empathy,kindness and patience.
My son has improved a lot.At Active Montessori the children are learning how to become infipendent,skills for life and also they learn how to manage their feelings and emotions.
The communication between the teachers and parents is very good (there Is an app where parents can see what the kids are doing)and also at pick up time the teacher communicate with the parents .

Stefan's journey at this nursery was filled with joy, happiness, great education, and good values...
The staff are lovely and warm, they take the kids out in the park when possible, a lot of activities, they feed them good food and healthy.
The place is clean, welcoming, full with activities and toys, also they have an indoor slide...
I highly recommend this nursery for every child.
