I was very nervous about my appointment but the phone staff, reception staff and all the nurses that I seen on the day were so helpful, calm and friendly, it made everything so much easier and kept my mind at ease. The nurses couldn't do enough for you and were always checking in to see if I was ok which I thought was very professional and nice. Thank you again for such a great service you should all be very proud of the work and help you do on a daily basis to all clients. Thank you ?

I had my face to face appointment a few days ago and I was so terrified that I was going to be judged but honestly everyone was amazing and so reassuring! I can’t remember what the name of the woman who did my appointment but she was honestly amazing and really helped me calm down.
I had a medical abortion and I also had a scan to see how far along I was and she saw that I have a cyst on my ovary but she was reassuring me making me understand that it shouldn’t be anything to worry about at all.thankyou for the way MSI help women it’s so appreciated

I recently had a private no-scalpel vasectomy. The procedure was completely painless, including the numbing injection. I experienced no pain afterward, which I attribute to the technique used. I only needed 200 mg of ibuprofen and 500 mg of paracetamol (Nurofen) after the procedure, which I only took once. The doctor and nurses were very nice and friendly, making sure I was distracted during the procedure.

Lovely nurses / midwife’s. Kept me calm before and after operation. Could not fault whatsoever, kept me in the loop of what was going to happen, how I would feel and how to deal with any pain. Was very emotional and the nurses did a fab job at supporting me.

The ladies at the reception were amazing and super friendly, which actually prevented me from bursting into tears. The nurse was very professional and I loved that she was gentle and calm. I wish I was in a better life situation and wouldn't need to terminate as it's still breaking my heart but I am thankful for all the beautiful ladies helping me out today. Hopefully, future me will be able to welcome a new life under better circumstances but even though I still blame myself, I was not judged once and I am really grateful for that. Thank you all so much!

I just wanted to say how lovely, caring and compassionate the staff are here. I spoke to a few different people and everyone was lovely and not the littlest bit judgmental like I was worried about. The nurse/midwife even got me some strong sickness tablets because I was so worried about being sick due to previous hyperemesis. Thank-you for being so understanding and making a hard choice more bearable.

Myself and my partner unfortunately had to look into the option of a surgical termination. We received news which no parent should have to go through and contacted msi. The initial appointment process was straight forward and we were seen to quickly. My partner was met with the words ‘so this is an unplanned pregnancy’ at her first consultation. This was not the case at all, but felt very unkind to start the conversation of like this when we had just been told our baby had a genetic condition. We advised msi of this when booking in, so to be met with this line during the consultation was as if the notes hadn’t been read properly. We were informed an appointment could be made for the following Tuesday, but our amnio report needed to be provided. On our journey home, and within 30 minutes we sent our amnio report over. I was told to contact the Manchester surgery but getting through to them took 4 attempts and was near on impossible. I was told someone would phone me back, but they never did (I had to keep trying) When I eventually got through, I was told they hadn’t received my email, when they purely hadn’t checked the emails going back further enough. I was then told the appointment previously mentioned had gone and mine would be now another week away. We had done everything asked of us in an already stressful situation and this experience was made more and more difficult. In the end we decided to do the medical route as we felt the midwife’s and doctors at hospital knew our case better and would treat us with more sensitivity and care.

Could not have been looked after by a better group of ladies and gents here, from nurses, reception team, anaesthetist and surgeon. Particular thanks to my nurse Sophie who was with me on all 3 appointments she was so lovely. I was treated every time with so much care and support and I only hope they get to see this message of thanks passed on to them. Thank you so much ?
