Great staff. Car park D is only a few minutes walk. Parking is free. May be a queue to go in. We only waited about 8/10 minutes. Plenty of seating in the dining area.

It was my first visit yesterday to start Chemo and after reading some of the negative reviews my anxieties were high. However, every department I went to was clean and all staff throughout the areas I visited couldn't do enough for me and my husband.
We went to Maggies after my bloods were taken and again were met with a lovely warm welcome. We were given lots of information which I'm sure will help us on this scary path.
I won't be afraid to go for my next infusion as I also met a lady who has been attending since 2009 and really put my mind at ease.
I had no idea how big this hospital is and lost my way a few times. Every member of staff I asked for help treated me with such kindness and respect and where extremely helpful.
I've no idea what the future outcome will be but I came away feeling I am in safe hands. I thank God there are such places long live the NHS

Popped into restaurant to get 2 coffees just before their closing time at 4pm. Told by the kitchen restaurant closed. Poor attitude and manner. No apology whatsoever.

However on a better note greeted by lovely and friendly receptionist at radiotherapy department who deserves a 5 star rating. The kitchen staff need lessons in respect and empathy.

Dr joe mercer is amazing. He was the only man who managed to get a biopsy for me when everyone else failed. I will be forever in his debt. Thank you Joe. You got me a diagnosis and saved my life x

My wife was referred to The Christie for a clinical cancer trial, the 1st scan results were mostly positive with her tumors shrinking by nearly 30%. Shortly after her 1st scan results she developed a rash, a rash that she has had twice before due to her having a reaction to something in her flat, the Dr overseeing her trial refused her treatment for 2 consecutive weeks and then lowered her treatment dose, even though we provided dated photos of her rash from the two previous occasions (one of which was before she even had cancer) these were ignored and the Dr (Dr Carter) refused to accept that the rash was not treatment related. Following on my wife recently had her 2nd scan and obviously due to missing 2 weeks of treatment and her dose been lowered unnecessarily the tumors have grown, The Christies response to this growth was "the treatment is no longer working for her" and to remove her from the trial. I tried explaining that there was clearly a connection that anyone could see between my wife been refused 2 weeks of treatment and her dose been lowered and the cancer growing and was completely ignored! Absolutely disgusting behaviour, this was the only treatment that had shown promising results for my wife but now thanks to Dr Carter and her team my wife will likely not be here in the next 12 months!
