I was surprised to find that a practice nurse can work from home as I found out on a telephone call yesterday. How can you test blood pressure, weigh someone assess someone without seeing them? Every single thing that a practice nurse should do is in person but apparently not at Greenview. I could be morbidly obese but not one question was asked about my weight. Also lots of other things can be picked up in person and serous issues could be missed. Why are practice nurses working from home are we still in fear of covid?

I am not happy at all from what I received yesterday. They play what we call patient Ping Pong, one side to another, waited in the queue for 25-30 minutes to speak to someone with regards to an issue I had, eventually answered and explained the situation, no worries I'll speak to someone about this, again playing patient ping pong! Then get told the doctor will call me sometime this afternoon, 2 hours later got a callback from the doctor, nice chap but really I should've been called in to be thoroughly examined then rule it out via examination, been with Greenview for years and they have gone downhill, relying on 111, phone calls etc! Who are we paying our taxes to and what for!? Thanks anyway for your help but shame on you for going downhill

What an absolute joke! Logged on to Anima (or whatever it is called) at 8:03 (because you can’t do it before 8) and it basically tells you- try again on Monday! Immediately called the number to be placed in a queue of 32 other callers before me!? How is this acceptable? All I need is a repeat prescription, but what about those patients who need a proper medical help?! Stuck on a phone while trying to do work- and I already know what the answer will be- call again on Monday!
This is a joke!!!! Use to be one of the best rated surgeries in the area when I first moved here- I see it’s hardly scarping 2 starts now…. Not just me then!!!!

If you value your life dont join Greenview Surgery. If you cant use anima at exactly 8am in the morning you could drop dead and they wouldn't care. Dont email! They'll tell you to complete anima, which by the way if you do at 8.05am it'll be too late..... until tomorrow. So just hang in there another day. Been waiting for physio for 6 mths. Can't chase via email, guess what, use anima, which if you haven't guessed will only let you at 8am otherwise they are over capacity. Doing what I dont know! Moved to a new surgery, its like going private where you can just call up and they answer your questions. Physio appointment booked within 2 weeks, doctors appointment booked within 3 for follow ups, amazing! Months and months Ive been struggling and nothing would have ever been done at Greenview. So glad Ive moved.

I waited patiently until the end of the queue, which took almost 40 minutes each time (totaling around 2 hours), enduring excruciating pain. Each time I called, the lady would pick up, hear "Green View Surgery," and promptly hang up after hearing my response. I'm unsure if she was pressed for time or if they employ incompetent and heartless staff.

I've been trying to register with a doctor for 3 weeks and I CAN'T!! I turn on the app between 7:30-12 and I CAN'T!! I had to go privately because here it's IMPOSSIBLE. What's that I pay insurance just to pay and I can't register with a doctor Pathetic

If I could give lower than a 1 star I would for the despicable service I have received today. Rang yesterday, they were at full capacity.
Then on the phone to 111 all evening and through the night, to be told I would get a phone call from my doctors. The doctors then texted me to say I had to ring up to get an appointment. I then ring up and get a snotty receptionist telling me that 111 do not have the right to dictate telephone consultations. I firstly got a text message from a nurse, then I rang again as I wanted to see a doctor. Still got a text message again. I then did my own swab and have made the problem much worse, as they should be doing it. Now I’m bleeding and rang up again to not be seen again! And to be spoken to on the phone finally. But I am now having to seek other medical advice, yet again due to poor negligence!

I was so disappointed this has been my practice for 15 years and I’ve seen how it’s changed so badly. I haven’t visited because I care for the nhs and understand others need more care than me. But this time I needed help.
1st occasion, I was on the phone to them at 8am and they said I’m 22nd in queue then I tried to call again around 10:00am I was 12th in queue, as I have work, I can’t just stay on the line. I must’ve waited for half an hour to be told that all the bookings are gone and I need to call back at 8 o’clock in the morning. Who has time for this especially if you’re working full time. When you do get through to a receptionist for whatever reason they speak to you like they have a personal grudge, and try to be patronising.
2nd occasion I used the anima service to book an appointment today is 8th December but my appointment is on 19th December!! Wow really? 🙁
I then call them to use the enhanced access service they sent me a text to confirm my same day telephone appointment at 21:00 with a GP. I receive a missed call from a private number at 16:00?
Called the receptionist has the audacity to ask me why I hadn’t picked up.. basic logic out the window..booked another appointment for 15:00 on the day. A nurse calls me at 13:30 and says she’s really sorry my request isn’t her line of work, and I have to ring the surgery again Monday morning. That will be the third time. Absolutely shocking.
3rd occasion, trying to use their anima service, you have to start from 8am to make a new request, it was 08.04am and I couldn’t access it!! God forbid, if it’s not 8am on the dot there’s no option, absolutely gobsmacked!!..
Overall, for a surgery that’s trying to modernise, their online programme aswell as telephone referrals to even get an appointment is below standard. My complaints are mainly for the mess for appointment booking as opposed to service. Also, how many training days does a surgery team need? And still poor service? Since April 2023, I have counted 14 training days.
