We went to Urgent Care on Friday night (8th November) with my teenage son who was really poorly. They were brilliant. From the lady who greeted us on the reception to the nurse and practitioner who saw him. He was seen quickly and we were taken seriously. Grateful for their care, attention and kindness.

We have just been seen by Nurse practitioner S.Hare in the urgent care centre. Our daughters condition is fairly complex. He took his time thoroughly investigating her past/current medical history. He was extremely Informative & attentive. We left feeling very reassured.

Absolutely first class hospital. I went in with a ruptured bicep. Reception staff were really helpful, friendly, and even funny, which I actually appreciated. I wasn't waiting long before seeing a triage nurse for assessment. Again, a short wait for further assessment with another nurse who sent me for an X-ray, which was also really fast.
It's a shame that the rest of the NHS can't follow their example. I have nothing but the utmost regard for this hospital and its staff. They are brilliant ?

I just want to thank Dr Miligan at Selby hospital for being so brilliant and helping me getting answers in such a sort period. After suffering in pain for a few days at York Hospital and getting no where. I cannot thank you enough for helping me the staff was brilliant too

Really friendly and helpful staff apart from the male advanced clinical practitioner (for urgent care) who was rude, dismissive and clearly has their own confidence issues going on. Did not feel safe and will not be returning.

Went with a broken toe. Reception staff were extremely helpful getting me a wheelchair and making sure I was comfortable The nurses were lovely very friendly and explained everything and even took photos for me of my x-ray. I wasn't waiting long at all.

Had the misfortune to go to Selby hospital recently, both my husband & myself, the staff couldn't have been more helpful from girls on reception to nursing staff, a particular mention must go to Tim who attended to my very sore eye infection to nurse Elaine White who tended to my husbands nasty infected cut, where would we be without these wonderful people & our fabulous NHS,a big thank you to you all
