I tried to make an appointment to see a doctor about my hospital appointment that took 10 weeks due to it only being classed as routine I got online at 8.15 only for the site to be closed as they say all appointments had gone this was the same all week this surgery has plunged downhill as no one seems to care about the patients yet when you go to bolsover surgery there might be 6 people in waiting & non in Glapwell surgery

Been with this practice a year.
Have waited in the waiting room for over an hour with my unwell crying toddler as they "lost the list" and all the doctors went on lunch at the same time.
I have had to ring and chase urgent results from hospital as the "systems do not sync up" Hospital told me results were sent over the same day test was done, a week later practice says they don't have them.
Lost blood test results resulting in me having to do them again.
I am finally under the hospital who cannot see anything on the system from this practice. Most of the staff are friendly but then follow up with a text message you cannot reply to. for example after test results came back, I was issued a prescription that is not suitable for me (failing to look at medical history) but this was sent in a text and no conversation to discuss next steps, they were dictated through a do not reply sms service.

Had a phone call from dr flinders disgusted with the way I was spoken to and made to feel stupid didn’t want to listen to what I had to say and the mannerism in which she spoke was awful and unprofessional will not be wanting to see this doctor or speak to her again she was totally unprofessional.

All appointments have to be booked online after 8am. A GP or health worker calls you back to make an appointment if they feel it is needed. It seems to work OK.

I'm incredibly impressed with this practice of late. Needed an appointment for my elderly father today quite quickly. I filled in the online form on his behalf at 8am, the doctor called by 8.20am and he was seen by 9.20. I've also been myself lately and received a competent service. The changes made to the appointment system lately seem to be ensuing people who need seeing are seen promptly and most likely has made time wasters give up. Credit where it's due, a vast improvement.

With all the negative press nowadays surrounding GP practices I’d like to say what a well run Surgery Welbeck Road is . The reception staff are all very helpful and try their best to accommodate your needs to the best of their abilities. The dispensary staff are also very friendly and helpful. I’ve always found the GPs to be very good and thorough . I really Like the AccuRX system to book an appointment early in the morning but also find you can get an appointment or telephone call if needed by calling the Surgery.

I was told I would be placed on the Hospital waiting list as Urgent for an operation I need to have, Hospital said I have been put down as routine, I'm afraid to say they have clearly lied at Welbeck Health Centre so be careful if you use this Health Centre
