Could not fault any of the staff or the services at Darlington LWC. Friendly and professional at all times. Always able to contact them directly, or via their Salve App, and always received a quick response. Anyone looking for help and support with fertility treatment in and around the North East - we would highly recommend this clinic. From our initial consultation to discharge with a positive outcome it took around 3 months. Very pleased with our treatments and again, all the staff were very supportive at each stage. Payments and cost of treatments, medication etc were explained to us upfront. We were offered a complimentary/compulsory counselling session which my husband and I found useful. I found the clinic to be very clean and welcoming on each visit. On one occasion, some of the staff came in extra early after scheduling an emergency appointment for our egg collection to ensure we wouldn’t have to wait on our own whilst the theatre staff were getting ready. 10/10 for everything.

Couldn't rate this clinic enough.
The Dr, reception and the nursing team go out their way to do anything for you.
My ivf cycle failed because I didn't produce enough eggs and they changed it to an IUI.
The team were extremely helpful, supportive and came up with solutions rather than just cancelling the whole thing.
Kept me informed every step of the way through a really hard time.

Butcher shop !! Horrendous staff & treatment at Darlington branch. Treat you like your a massive hinderance staff clearly hate working there and it shows!
We have been lied to, ignored, had forms go missing, had no information given prior to asking for consent.
we had icsi here, we got a positive test on day 9 and then was given the most incorrect aftercare info that it was perfectly fine to go in hot baths, on holiday swimming in the pool daily and sunbathing !!
Also informed gym and lifting was totally fine!!
Then at scan Got lied to and told we were pregnant with a healthy heart beat .. never were we given the chance to hear the heartbeat and he rushed the whole scan it was over in maybe 3 minutes (whilst nurse in the back ground of the room was shaking her head in anger the whole time) only to then go for a second opinion after the nurses reaction had give me doubts of the consultant and I kind of knew he was hiding something ! And well shock we were told there is no heartbeat. Consultant then said “oh yes I thought that as it was abnormal and would stop this doesn’t surprise me” he had literally congratulated us and told us to inform our gp !!
Be prepared for reception staff to regularly roll there eyes, huff at you and then argue with you should you dare to have the face to ask questions. No one will ever call you for follow ups or welfare checks!
If this is your first ever visit to a fertility clinic god help you as no one will explain what any of the long or scientific words mean.
We have since used manchester fertility clinic and can not begin to explain how hugely different the professionalism, compassion and communication differ !!
Never ever use this clinic branch we have suffered massive ptsd from the experience with these butchers !

I had a great experience at this clinic, they made me feel ease and good advice on all my options. I went for an initial consultation at the beginning of Aug 2018 and after a round of IVF I am now currently 21 weeks pregnant. Everyone was so friendly and helpful especially the nurses who were caring and provided excellent care.

Overall very unprofessional but three things that where very off putting:
1) They didn't inform me it was a male doctor before my physical exam
2) They suggested I freeze my eggs because I still had time to meet someone aka a male partner, I was there for a IUI donor appointment
3) They suggested I choose a white donor because they felt a child of a different ethnicity would "look weird/people would wonder where my child had come from" if my child wasn't also white.
I will not be carrying on with this company after my initial appointment and would not recommend this company to anyone. Zero stars

Absolutely appalling attitude and treatment, particularly from the reception staff.

Stood waiting outside for more than 10 minutes before being ask loudly who we were and what treatment were we having from the front door.

Now, given that for most it is somewhat of a sensitive manner, to have to announce in front of a queue of people (fellow patients and that of another service) what type of fertility treatment we were having was insensitive, rude and out of order.

All of which was voiced accordingly once in the building.

We expected better from that of a private clinic and will not be returning.
