Popped in yesterday to arrange an appointment. Lady was so helpful, booked an advance appointment and made other suggestions. Very happy with the service I received Thank you!

The nurse that syringed my wars today was friendly, professional and fantastic. She even suggested, when i meet the audiologist to review my hearing issues. Tony Habberley

Absolutely disgusted with the receptionists at this surgery, after calling for weeks because my 16 year old had been unwell, calling at 8am by the time you get through no appointments left, I asked the woman who answered the phone if there’s no appointments again today can I please have a call back because this was the forth time my child had been unwell in around 6 weeks, she refused when I asked why she told me my son was not “clinically unwell” amazing someone who has no medical training can tell me that over the phone. She then proceeded to tell me her manager said no, so I asked to talk to her manager, who then magically was at lunch! Going back and forth for a few minutes she then repeated my manager has said no again, so I said if she’s back from lunch now I’d like to talk to her, was put on hold and then when she came back she told me my managers now on a call so I said I would wait until she was finished… I got hung up on, you should not be dealing with the public if you have no customer service skills, and if your a manager your job is to help your staff this surgery is so backwards! Any ways went to the pharmacy who told me my son needed to be seen by a gp, and also explained that my son was clinically unwell, so to the receptionist who thinks she can give out medical advice when you are not qualified you should be taken for further training! Everyone knows the NHS is under pressure, but there is no excuses for rude behaviour! If I have problems with this surgery again I will be taking the situation further

I recently transferred here, and I'm already considering changing GP. I hadn't attended any appointments here yet as i hadnt been unwell but a random doctor decided to report my whole family to social services because of some very odd reasons (one being that apparently I had denied midwife care during pregnancy.. which is funny considering I had attended all my antenatal appointments..?) and then AFTER we were investigated (case was closed due to the claims being false) social worker apologised and said doctor couldn't see our info on the system so it looked like we were 'hiding things.' I don't feel comfy coming back here after a person I had never met reported me for false claims when they had never met me or my family at all. I feel incredibly violated.
(Short version: Social services investigated us for neglect the week of my wedding while i was heavily pregnant, causing so much stress just to have them say the system was faulty and dismissing the case. Disgusted.)

My daughter has been really well cared for at this surgery since she’s been born. Today they got me an appointment with a nurse within 15 mins of me phoning, and discovered and treated an ear infection. The nurse was friendly and kind. They are under such a lot of pressure and work so hard for their patients.

I am on very important medication and if not taken can have serious affects. This surgery couldn’t find any evidence of my medication so I went to my old surgery to get proof and gave it to Church Street. They took ages and didn’t get back to me I actually ran out of medication, they wouldn’t pick up the phone as their queues are very long. I had to go and get an emergency prescription from tescos. Very unhappy and displeased with their services. Weren’t apologetic and still haven’t sorted the issue.

I have never met such an unorganised facility. The fact they're dealing with peoples health is quite dangerous actually. I spent about 4 days in pain trying to get a simple call from the nurse or doctor. They blatantly disregard your problems if they don't have any spaces and over my time being there only one woman has been helpful.
2nd day I called to get an appointment, all gone by about 1pm and completely disregarded it. Only taking "emergencies" but you have to wait 30 minutes in a queue for a receptionist to decide if it is or isn't.
3rd day I miss their call (they only call once), wait 35 minutes in the queue to tell them to call me back. Never did so someone is incompetent at their job.
Now its a Bank Holiday from Friday to Monday and I would be in pain for a week. If it wasn't for the genuine people working at 111 that were friendly and unprofessional who are under much more pressure and responsibility over the phone. Unlike the reception staff here.
I'm disgusted its even allowed to deal with people and health when it blatantly disregards people. They're unorganised, poorly run, incompetent and rude all round.
