This morning for the first tine I visited the café at Clayhill Vineyard with two friends, and it was a delightful experience. Nestled among rolling hills and lush grapevines, the café offers stunning panoramic views of the vineyard, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxed morning. We sat outside to fully enjoy the scenery, and the peaceful, open-air atmosphere made the visit even more enjoyable.

The coffee was rich and flavorful, served promptly by the friendly staff. I opted for a double espresso which was well-balanced and smooth. We also indulged in a selection of cakes. I chose a slice of lemon drizzle cake that was moist, tangy, and bursting with fresh citrus flavor. My friends went for the carrot cake and a chocolate brownie, both of which were equally indulgent and delicious.

The combination of excellent coffee, delectable cakes, and picturesque surroundings made the morning feel like a mini-retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, adding to the overall relaxed vibe. Whether you’re looking for a quick coffee stop or a leisurely afternoon with friends, Clayhill Vineyard Café is a fantastic choice, offering both great food and unbeatable views. I will definitely be returning.

Got engaged out side with such a beautiful view. Food was lovely and quick service. Staff was amazing welcoming and super friendly. Price was more than fair and after our meal we was given a bottle of their own sparkling white wine. Cannot recommend enough.

We recently ran a yoga & meditation retreat at Clayhill, and the feedback we got back was so positive! The stunning views speak for themselves and the venues staff couldn’t have been more friendly and hospitable. Beautiful food, a wonderful day out and I’ll definitely be going back for a vineyard tour and to taste more of their exquisite wine. Thank you all for a fabulous day!?

Lovely Café, Views are gorgeous! Pulled pork focaccia was delicious ? Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. We came on Saturday during lunch time and was surprised at how busy it was. The staff had handled it very well, and were so pleased with how the manager handled the busyness. We’ve been coming for years now and haven’t seen it that busy. She was so attentive and Professional. Food and cakes was worth the wait for when you have a view like that ? Can’t wait to come back over the weekend ?

We regularly visit this gem, the views from the balcony over the river crouch are amazing, the freshly made cakes especially the walnut and coffee keeps us coming back, along with the welcoming friendly service. Had the ploughman's today instead of cake and cant recommend enough! ?

First visit so messaged to ask if it was necessary to book a table, got a reply within 2 hours, even though it was Saturday evening. Limited savoury menu, but excellent choice of cakes and drinks. Staff lovely, with both inside and outdoors seating. Limited seating on ground level indoors, but up the stairs is open, with even more terrific views than from the outside seating area. Great views over the river. Yet to try the wine I bought whilst there. Will definitely be heading back there soon ?

First time for us and would thoroughly recommend it. We visited on a beautiful September day and the views were marvellous looking down the river, across to Kent and further right to Southend. Lovely big bunches of grapes on the vines too. We sat outside but inside was roomy and very clean looking, good selection of drinks and cakes etc. Only noticed one toilet which was disabled/unisex/baby changing. Polite staff. Well worth a visit.

Cakes looked great, unfortunately didn't try them due to nut Allergies.. but would Cater if phoned in advance which is a nice touch to know.
