I attended the two day mental health first aid course delivered by Glenn of Connect Mind Care and another mental health professional and both created a safe safe contained environment which facilitated the members of our diverse group to share our experiences, perceptions and understanding. The learning was well paced and interactive and engaging and I completed the course feeling like I had added greatly to my existing knowledge of mental health and importantly with a confidence to intervene and make a significant difference to mental health struggles in my community.

I recently attended the Mental Health First Aid course facilitated by Glenn and Lisa. Both led the course so well with brilliant communication skills. We were a diverse group who were enabled to learn from one another's experiences and reflections thanks to the skilled guidance and input of Glenn and Lisa who created a safe learning environment so that everyone felt valued and able to share.
The depth and quality of the teaching meant that I left feeling much better equipped to come alongside those struggling with their mental health and have even already had cause to confidently put into practice the skills I developed over the two days.

The content was very well managed, thought out and planned leaving time for open discussions. The MHFA course was delivered very professionally with plenty of time for questions and discussion. It was relevant to the various areas of life and employment represented. I feel much better equipped to know how to approach and offer support to someone who may be experiencing a mental health crisis.
