Appalling service when trying to book routine appointments. Did actually manage to make 2 appointments but was made to feel like my requests were completely unreasonable because I return from work at 5.30pm. I was giving several weeks notice for the appointments because they were ROUTINE. Routine appointments should not mean that you have to take time off work! The Doctors are generally kind and helpful (only have encountered one I would not see again). Many of the reception staff need training on their customer service skills - some empathy would not go amiss!!

They make it so hard to get into contact or make an appointment. My doctor requests I have a phone consultation to discuss results but unless I can be at work or on the phone at the same time to organise the callback the same day it is to late to organise the consultation . Luckily for my my Dr requested I be put on her call list for tomorrow or I would just be left with a condition I know the name of and no way to access further care. The automated triage is awful and frustrating as well. I’m an not calling for a jolly I am calling because I am terrified by my test results. Feels like the practice modernised and expanded but failed to plan for the size of the village under this insane intensity of the construction around here. Would be one star if Dr Holden had not requested me to be out on her phone list because unless it’s an emergency forget it they can’t help you.

I have spoken to the medical group on 4 occasions this week. All staff have been friendly, helpful and polite. They have called or texted me back promptly. This has always been the case even when they've been extremely busy. This goes for the pharmacy staff as well, again very helpful and friendly.

Really awful appointment system, which only seems to be getting worse.

Their postnatal care was also shocking, my 6 week check was an online form which just isn’t an acceptable level of care. They did action my feedback on this by asking how the form could be changed- which is totally missing the point.

I have only just put in my change of doctor request to this surgery.
I turned up yesterday unsure of whether they could see me. I was incredibly upset and had my young child in tow.
The receptionist was incredibly helpful when asked if I could speak in private.
Offered me a glass of water, some tissues and fantastic with my child.
I was seen within an hour and the doctor was also fantastic.
Thank you for helping me in my biggest time of need.

Went for my flu jab today. Can't thank the Surgery enough for the perfect way they got numerous people in and out, yet with no sense of rush; the nurse obviously on non stop duty, yet her approach was one of making you welcome and showing interest. That's a skill when dealing with queues of patients. The people directing the busy traffic of cars in and out were really good and giving up their Saturday. The strict approach to masks, sanatiser etc was a reminder that covid has not gone away and that reasonable precautions can't be dispensed with. I'm proud of the way my Surgery organised all this and a huge thank you to all those staff and volunteers who care about our health and their commitment so obvious.

Terrible practice, when trying to sign up whilst having a serious chest infection with severe asthma I completed all forms and was then told I could not be seen as I did not have the correct proof of address, not even as a temporary patient (in person or by phone) and was sent away!?!

My doctors back in Nottingham from where I was moving from, who I then called, said they can't do that - but as there was such incompetence at the desk and the general management I then called 111 (as Nottingham practice suggested).

I thought a locally run tiny practice might have their game together a little more than an overrun city practice, clearly not!

Visit for Appointment at 10am, 11jul2023. Arrived 9.30am. Tuesday.
It is a very good new building & latest facilities. Within driving distance from Eynsham village.
