I visited the urgent care for the first time for my 5 year old today, the facility is clean and all the staff is super kind and attentive. It's close to Christmas and everyone is still working so hard. Dr Green was the doctor who helped my daughter, he was so friendly and kind. He spent time explaining everything to me so I understand why my daughter has been vomiting and has the temperature, also was so kind to my daughter and gave her a toy, as she dropped her toy in the toilet earlier and was upset about it. Thank you so much for Dr Green and everyone working there

Normally the centre is really good but took my son here yesterday with a suspected broken finger, upon arrival the place was packed I'd say 60+ people in a small area we totally understand these places get busy, we filled out the questionnaire on the computer and waited an hour to be seen but this was only to be booked in to come back 2 hours later? Why did we have to wait to be told this? Or even give a warning on entry with an expected consultation time.
Come on surely if you have a computer system this could have told you this at the time so we could have made a choice to either attend A&E or come back nearer that time without having to wait in a packed area with people coughing and sneezing, we all feel ill this morning with sore throat and headache, where are the infection risk staff in this NHS after the pandemic? I'm not in health care but even I could tell it was an infection hot-spot, we hear it on the news all the time now about the flu and covid etc etc and the NHS being over run but this didn't seem to bother the staff at the centre yesterday!!!!!
It asked for my mobile number surely the computer system could advise that you will be notified when you are called so you can sit in your car or wait outside?

POINTLESS! may as well be an underdeveloped country. I'm am forced to leave this review as in 5 years this is my third visit twice for myself and once accompanying a family member and each time I just don't understand the point of this place. You go because you feel worse for wear, you wait ages today was 4 to 5 hours wait and then they do obs and basically either tell you to go to Royal(where you'll get admitted or teated) or visit a physician with a print out. If we go to Urgent Care we know we're seriously ill or suspect somethings wrong and don't expect to be then ushered on after sitting with all the other ill individuals. Always if you can please just travel further distance to a Main A & E will save ypu pain and large number of hours. You'll just feel even sicker wasting time sitting in this place when they don't provide even being able to prescribe medication or supportive care. It's an unnecessary stopping point!!!!I couldn't see to drive wasted £30 uber only to have to go elsewhere WILL NEVER attend Never again. This is why some people suffer in silence just pointless.

A poor excuse for a medical centre. Maybe we visited on a bad evening? We were advised by 111 to bring out 10 month old son here. He managed to get seen to fairly quickly and the staff were friendly enough. However the waiting room was dirty. There was no sound on whatsoever, the water cooler was broken - so there were no drinks to be had. (Thank god for the dessert shop opposite!) There was also a couple of intimidating looking guys parked in the drop off zone (in the way of the entrance) I don't know if they were part of the pick up and drop off service that is arranged by the hospital or not.

The facilities are basic to say the least.

I don't care what anyone else says this place is superb! Yes I had to call 111 in the night and wait until the afternoon for an appointment but after completing the on screen system (yes it's long winded) I grabbed a great coffee from the cafe and was seen to and sorted straight away. The staff here really care and just react to the flood of people attending here with compassion and care working on a busy Saturday night. Proud of our NHS 👍😍✌️

In a world where everyone is complaining about our health care system I have to leave a review.
Yesterday I called 111 for my son, they told me to go to Loughborough urgent care centre within the hour. I arrived after 30 mins to be told no appointment and I had to book in on the screens. When I tell you the waiting area was PACKED - not a single free chair, I was thinking great, this is going to be hours.
The staff were very pleasant and to my surprise my son was triaged within 25 mins. We then went back to the waiting area and saw a nurse within another half an hour and were sent straight to A&E where my son had to have emergency surgery. I cannot thank the staff enough who work hard to make such services quick and available to us during the weekends.

Part 1
I had to attend Loughborough Urgent Care Centre on Sunday 27/10/2024 at 15.20pm
After self check in 15 mins later triage called me through to do my obs, went back to waiting room.
At 16.00pm I was called in for my treatment I apologised for keeping them waiting as my mobility is poor due to osteoporosis, the nurse said no need to apologise.
I walked out the hospital at 16.35pm, so I don't know why people moan of time waiting, I was more than impressed I went in hospital had treatment and out hospital all in 1 hour 15 mins.
I had excellent professional treatment by all who seen me, special thanks who did my treatment she was so kind made me feel relaxed and did a wonderful job
I Think her name was Jodie but it was room 10.
Please pass my personal thanks onto her for me
Again thanks for excellent service and God bless our NHS.

Review Part 2,
I had to attend Loughborough Urgent Care Centre again on Saturday 2nd November 2024 arrived at hospital at 2.45pm self checked myself in on very easy screens to use, at 3.20pm I got called in by a nurse called Bianca she took me into room for treatment where I met another nurse called Emma.
Both Emma and Bianca treated me with the utmost respect and chatted to me throughout my treatment which relaxed me, they were both very friendly experienced wonderful nurses and they showed me 💯 % Care towards me.
I cannot thank them enough I thanked both of them, i left hospital at 4.25pm.
I was impressed with time i hardly waited at all, from going in to leaving hospital after treatment it was 1hr 3/4 mins
We would be lost without our NHS, But after the excellant treatment i had on both ocassions i think the department should have thank you tins in rooms of treatment as i would definately have left a donation for these two wonderful nurses
Yet again love and respect to all staff i saw and god bless our NHS

Doctors Robbie Miller and Azi Gazanfer were exceptional today, thank you. You both took the time to listen to my concerns about my daughter. You both examined my daughter, checked her history, did blood and urine tests and offered lots of reassurance. Thank you so much 🙏
