A great team of staff.

My mum is a patient at this surgery and I cannot fault the staff. The receptionists are very caring and helpful. The professional staff follow through with their plan for the care of my mum. This surgery is by far better than the surgery I am allocated to. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been with the service for 4 years and seen my GP once when I signed up. They never answer the phone or when they do it is out of office (e.g 1pm) and they don’t deal with appointments. The online service is ridiculously slow. I submitted a form in September and haven’t heard back since even though I followed up over the phone.

If you’re a new patient, don’t bother signing up. They should say they’re not accepting new patients on their website as my partner and I have submitted our request over 2 months ago and have heard absolutely nothing. I even submitted an appointment request as I’m feeling unwell! Nothing. lol. My old practice was phenomenal, wish I didn’t have to leave.

I cant remember the last time I saw my doctor. I dont even know my doctor’s name. My asthma assessment was done over the phone, my blood tests have been lost, my referrals have never been referred and I can never get into the triage. Used to be such a good GP but I applied to go elsewhere today. Enough is enough.

I wanted to say how brilliant, committed and caring City Road Medical centre is. From the amazing Doctors to the reception staff. Every member in the Surgery has reached out to help me when and where needed . I have been a patient there for so many years and I am grateful and feel so blessed. The NHS pressure has had an impact however it never ceases my faith that I have been taken care of with my medical condition. I am truly grateful. The Doctor’s, nurses staff for the NHS are there to help us patients even my visits to the hospitals. Impeccable service all around. I am under Dr Lisa Harrrod-Rothwell’s care. She has been an absolute gem, her warmth and care has been amazing. However even when she is not available all the Doctor’s there have been so caring of my medical condition. I personally want to thank each one of you at the City Road Medical centre. Really could not be healing without you!

I was a patient here for years and years it is possibly the worst ever service you could ever get. Don’t bother coming here. You probably wont get an appointment for 4months anyway. I’d suggest to go to another GP.

I have been a patient here for the past 5 years and only had good experiences with the practice so far. Whenever I called to make an appointment I got a call back from a doctor or nurse the same day or an in person appointment in the next couple of days.

I really want to thank all the hard working staff in this surgery, you’re all brilliant! Reception team are always so pleasant to speak to. I especially want to thank Dr Philly O’riordan who was amazing this morning, really took the time to help me, I really felt cared for! At a time where the NHS is so pressured your service is fantastic and you’re always so prompt. So happy to be registered here!
