Ok, so first the elephant in the room... Drs surgeries are not like they used to be! They are more stretched and it's not as easy to get an appointment as it once was. However I can't knock the drs for that as it's a central government funding issue, but I feel that Chartham Surgery do the very best with what they have available to them. All the staff (from reception to Drs and everything in-between) I've interacted with have been absolutely brilliant. Really lovely people, very understanding, kind, professional, knowledgeable and they've tried their hardest to accommodate my needs. I've just moved area and I'm genuinely sad that I'm not longer in their catchment area. I'd like to thank the whole team and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

I wish this surgery would hire more doctors, they never have doctors who can see you in person, if you get a phone call appointment they end up sending you to Northgate medical practice in Canterbury when we live in Chartham and joined that surgery as it was local. It’s a shame because of the receptionist are lovely and kind but that’s not the reason we joined, I’ve had to end up in a&e in Ashford due to constantly not being able to see a doctor and all they do is tell me to go to A&E. I have a newborn now and this just isn’t possible when I cannot get into town, I’ve left and joined another local doctors with face to face appointments thankfully.

My mum is now in hospital with blood poisoning because the doctors refused to give her more than two doses of antibiotics after her hip replacement got infected. They sent her to Canterbury to have Vaseline put on it. Nearly developed sepsis! I will be changing practices! My mums specialist surgeon was discustsed at her lack of treatment!

Best service i have recieved (Sorry but i dont think the person criticising the GP Quite understands the concept of being a GP?)I would not want him treating me !Dr Hughes and Dr Senthile are amazing (Patience i have known, with patients !)The receptionists are polite. You always get seen in an emergency-if it's not you should pre book at a less busy time.My medication is always sorted by a Pharmacist,I have nothing but praise. As do my parents who can't believe they are dealing with humans! They only go in emergencies or when health checks are needed. People should apreiciate there is increased workload, less resorces and stop moaning!!

We have just moved to the area and I visited the surgery for the first time....Dr Hughes is an incredible doctor...He not only took the time to listen he followed up everything he said he would do in super quick time....Can’t thank this doctor enough and so glad we have transferred here...I have waited years for answers from other doctors and he is making sure I get them! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

Nice and helpful receptionist’s but As most gp’s just counting patients. First visit , Not matter how I feel , can’t see anything so you are ok . Another visit , For question , What should I do if I’ve got allergic reaction for cough syrup ? doctor said , don’t take it any more . Of course but what else I could use becouse I’ve got bad cough for two weeks already. Doc : hmm , warm water honey and lemon . I could be doctor . It’s never gonna work when you going public .
