This surgery is leaving medical decisions to DWP who are unqualified which implies Drs at this surgery are not qualified in making medical decisions, also say they are coming out to see someone then do not show up.

I have always found the receptionists, nurses and doctors to be helpful, friendly and supportive. Yes it's a bit stressful phoning at 8 to get an appointment, but I've always succeeded in seeing a GP or nurse that day and this system is the same at most surgeries. I'm very happy with the service I have received at Wollaston

Woodsend practice cares about its patients and this shows from the top down. Getting a GP appointment has improved and you can often get what you need from a nurse or the pharmacist instead. Reception staff do try and help to resolve issues. The practice runs specific campaigns to help patients manage conditions better or spot them in advance which is helpful. So even if you don't need to see them you are called in for a basic health MOT

I thought I’d share my experience. I have been trying to get in to see a Dr about my medication supply issue for the last 2/3 weeks, I finally got in yesterday and I seen Dr Nyasha Meda, despite the long wait to get an appointment she was really really helpful and understanding. She even spoke to a few pharmacists on my behalf to try and get my medication sorted. By the time I got home she sent a message to say my new prescription had been sorted and sent to another chemist who had my medication. Nothing was too much trouble.

It’s difficult to get an appointment, which is understandable as for anyone and anywhere, but when you do get one, they treat you with really great care. Dr Nyasha Meda was very lovely and took her time with me after multiple trips here, she made me feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment and I really appreciate that. The ladies on reception were also lovely.

My son was on phone for over 30min & when finally got through, all appointments are fully booked.
Trying to get through is stressful in itself specially having to listen to the automated messages & when your told all appointments are booked try again another day, it's ridiculous.
I won't bother trying to get myself an appointment, seems pointless.

Can never get an appointment. Every single sodding time it's either fully booked or the line is so busy that you can't even get into the queue. Terrible system. More interested in spending money on uselessly expanding their building while leaving an accident waiting to happen with their access road to the pharmacy than upgrading their staff and systems to cope with patients. Useless. Utterly useless.
