Worst surgery in huddersfield left hand doesn't know what right hands doing .
Ordered a prescription on the App last Saturday so the surgery would get it monday , I still hadn't received anything today Friday the 7th Feb 2024 and tablets ran out Wednesday the 5th tried calling and calling before phone cut off .
Called at reception this morning at 08.30am they didn't even know I had ordered anything, this was rectified and red flagged .
I was told to ring back if not got a text which I did to be told pharmacy was currently on line working through the days prescriptions .
IF MY PRESCRIPTION WAS RED FLAGGED HOW COME ITS NOT SORTED STRAIGHT AWAY AS IV BEEN WITHOUT TABLETS SINCE WEDNESDAY.

Reception staff fantastic always friendly and efficient they work so hard great customer care . When phoning for prescriptions staff are brilliant . GPs and nurses also amazing diabetic locom gp also lovely . Love this surgery

Seems like others have had negative experiences here(just read Ashley's review and I felt the same) I would recommend to avoid based on my own and others poor patient care service.

What is the point on taking on new patients when you have to wait another week to call back for an appointment even if it’s for not on the same day? Also why is it the receptionists job to ask what is the reason for my condition when it’s the doctors job to do so? The receptionist was quite rude and presumed on my records that I needed anti depressants which was long in the past.. I’ll be looking for a practice elsewhere…

I was referred here for a physio appointment. No reception staff on so I sat and waited as it currently hurts for me to stand.

Notice on the reception window advised to ring for assistance but as I was 7 mins early for an appointment and could hear the rooms were in use I waited.

My appointment time came and 5 mins later the client before me came from the treatment room. I assumed it wouldn't be long before I would be seen.

4 minutes later at 17:19, my appointment at 17:10 a member of staff asked me if I had checked in. I advised I hadn't as nobody had been present. He then aggressively asked if I had an appointment which I advised I was here to see the physio.

He said I had to check in and I should have rung the bell. And now I wouldn't be able to have a full appointment as it was 10 mins past my appointment slot.

Given the pain I was in and the brusque and aggressive manner in which this was explained to me and the fact the previous session had only finished less than 5 mins ago I find this laughable.

I refuse to be spoken to in the manner of which the practice colleague spoke to me and left the surgery. Given this was an appointment I was already nervous about the quality of care and the manner in which I was spoken to was disgraceful.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Anam for a medical appointment.

Not only did she thoroughly listen to my concerns, but also took the time to explain my test results in such detail that it was very easy for me to understand.

Anam was very empathetic. She seemed to genuinely care about my health and I felt comfortable at all times. Her genuine concern and willingness to address all my questions and doubts was really nice.
