Lengthy waits to speak to receptionist.
When you get through appalling tone. No greeting not even a hello just "name".
Difficulties using the on line system to request appointments. Receptionist refusing to arrange appointment even though I was on the phone to them.
Perhaps a reason why patients clog up ED as they find GP receptionist so unapproachable and unhelpful. What happened to manners and kindness

I was really pleased with nurse Justina. She was very professional and empathetic when I saw her for my booster jab. I was obviously nervous and she took the trouble to put me at my ease.

Today at 8.40 I came to collect the blood form at coulsdon surgery, I am talking to the male Receptionist.. suddenly there is a Black lady came and ask him to stop.
I believe she is name is JANE
What a disgusting Woman she is unbelievable,
She Ask me to close the front door, while I get there she jump in the chair and kick the door
Shouting at me and swearing…
Even other colleagues are socked to the behaviour, I really consider to took this matter to legal way. Unless the management response,

I have never visited least empathic and least helpful doctor in my life . Sadly Dr Nelson made me feel like I was taking his time for no reason . I understand that having no data transferred from hospital was not his fault . But there was nothing that made me feel I can get some help from him for my daughter . Absolutely and unbelievably useless .

Just an absolutely disgusting experience any time I’ve had to deal with this practice. I’m not sure if staff are trained, or just don’t care, but something is very seriously wrong at Woodcote Medical.

I won’t get into all of the bad experiences but the most recent - I have seen doctors twice, I am 37 weeks pregnant, actually they are not even considering to check anything here, rather than joking and ask me to took pain killers,

Finally I have end up very serious at hospital, after doctor seen the scan at hospital was very sad about my situation, and really concerned about the GP practice doctors did, also midwife give me the letter very urgently to GP,
I bring them at last Friday around 2pm, before I came I called the practice to inform, but receptionist who answer the phone say JANE, she was very rude and made some funny noise and put the phone down, then I go the coulsdon surgery there is a black lady, she was swear at me and when I ask the blood test equipments request by midwife, she was said bla bla bla bla continuously and dancing and left the reception.

Just an absolutely horrendous experience any time I’ve had to deal with this practice. I’m not sure if staff are overworked, incompetent, or just don’t care, but something is very wrong at Woodcote Medical.

I won’t get into all of the bad experiences but the most recent - I need to get my birth control implant removed. This procedure takes about 2 minutes, maybe 5 including giving the anesthetic time to kick in. On hold for 10 minutes after waiting in the queue for 30 minutes to then be told I need to have a phone consultation before being able to make this appointment. Ridiculous but ok - when can we have the consultation? Oh there are no upcoming phone appointments you need to call back another time. Another time… when exactly? Well ‘we don’t know because there are just no upcoming phone appointments.’

Absolute joke.

I have been with this surgery nearly 10 years now and now my son is registered here too and we have never had any problems! The staff are always so lovely and caring especially the reception staff with my little boy when he’s poorly. We understand fully it can be stressful and all the staff are only doing and asking as they’re told to make everything quick and as easy as possible. The doctors always go above and beyond to help. Thank you woodcote medical ☺️

Honestly couldn't have had an easier and better experience with them. The website makes it so easy to add photos and explain symptoms. I wrote to them at 9pm on a Monday evening and had a call from the doctor at 10am the next day. Dr Patel was really lovely and gave me medication the same day to collect from the pharmacy, but made sure to let me know they would refer me on if my symptoms didn't stop within a week. Just really impressed with the surgery as I know first hand in my line of work how difficult some GPs are! Very happy with the service there.
