Attempting to secure an appointment at Willows Medical Centre on Coleman Road is nothing short of a Sisyphean task—an exercise in frustration that borders on the absurd. The administrative and reception staff operate with a shocking degree of ineptitude, displaying an utter lack of efficiency, professionalism, or even basic human decency. Their approach to patient care is nonchalant at best, and outright neglectful at worst, leaving one to question whether the well-being of patients is even a remote priority for this establishment.

The administration and ownership of this facility seem more preoccupied with their profit margins than with delivering the fundamental healthcare services they ostensibly exist to provide. One must wonder why they continue to take on thousands of patients when their clinical staff are laughably inadequate—merely two or three overworked doctors and physician associates, most of whom appear to be locum staff with fleeting commitment. Such a blatant disregard for capacity planning smacks of greed and shameless exploitation.

While I must commend the wound clinic for its commendable service, this isolated highlight only serves to underscore the broader dysfunction of the practice. The majority of the doctors are woefully underwhelming, exhibiting an alarming proclivity for misdiagnoses that erode trust and compromise patient safety. Their incompetence raises serious questions about their qualifications and suitability for medical practice.

This institution is not merely failing its patients; it is actively contributing to the degradation of the NHS. By embodying everything that tarnishes the reputation of hard-working NHS professionals, the owners and administrators of Willows Medical Centre exemplify the very worst of modern healthcare management. Their conduct cries out for an investigation, and one could argue that imprisonment would be a fitting consequence for their flagrant dereliction of duty.

These are not healthcare providers—they are profiteers masquerading as caretakers, the kind of individuals who bring shame to the noble vocation of medicine and drag the country down with their unabashed self-interest. Their behaviour is nothing short of a disgrace.

Absolutely dreadful GP practice I've had the misfortune to visit, Luckily, for me, I'm registered elsewhere. I have the task of supporting people who are registered here. I visit GP practices throughout Leicester and southern England supporting folk, this is the worst for trying to get an appointment. I feel real sorry if English is not your first language, you're not tech savvy with smartphones/computers or you're elderly and frail. Staff are OK it's the company that run this excuse for a place of care and support. They are an absolute disgrace and should have their contract terminated. I've awarded one star as you can't post without giving a star

Had to use Willows for a blood test(i had to re-arrange my 3 monthly test at my surgery due to a xmas trip to my daughters). I arrived 40 mins early for my appointment-spoke to a lovely receptionist who assured me it wasn't a problem. Was called in for my appointment & seen by Lyndsey, sorted & a 20 minute drive home & was home before my appt time of 11.00. Well done Willows-seem to be a lot of bad reviews on here but i have no complaints. Once again thank you.

Worst Surgery Ever can’t get through for appointments, the receptionist is rude. They say to call at 8am after waiting to get through get turned down and get told to call 111 no appointments available, u can’t even book appointments online I wouldn’t even rate it 0 Stars it’s the worst service

And helpful but there appointment system to see a doctor is really bad

This is the worst most horrible GP to exist, it takes more than an hour for me to be able to talk to someone for an appointment and they randomly cut me off. Just to get an appointment you have to call a decade earlier, the staff/ receptionist are fairly rude at times too.if I had a choice I would give this a -5/10. Do yourself a favour and don’t register with this GP and register with a different Gp.

Am registered at Springfield Rd but was given an appointment at Willows for same evening. No-one was waiting when I arrived, was checked in by a lovely receptionist and seen 10 minutes before my appointment time by the wonderful ACP, Edith. Thank you to all at Willows.

Absolutely horrifying. I went for an appointment months ago after moving to Springfield and they moved me here which is ridiculous for me to get to (have to get a bus into town first and then one from there to the GP). During my first appointment, I turned up before the time of the appointment and was waiting for nearly an hour for the pharmacist there. Reception staff were horrendous, rude and only serving their 'own' community and I had to keep emailing them to give me access to my NHS app and until this day, they've given me limited access only.

I initially thought things would be great because of how motivating Niraj seemed, and I got into using my libre device, but over the past few months the GPs there and Niraj have been mucking about with my prescription (for example: no rapid insulin for weeks because they didn't put it on my repeat and giving me 6 week vit-D tabs instead of chewies/effervescence when they are fully aware I cannot swallow pills) and it is also impossible to get through and WHEN and IF you do, they then make you wait up to a week to speak to a DIFFERENT pharmacist.

However, the real stress came today when I noticed that the latter (Niraj) cancelled my libre prescription without discussing it with me first, after me - the needle phobic - spent months getting used to wearing it and now use to monitor my sugar levels religiously. How is a pharmacist - NOT A GP/DOCTOR - allowed to do that? I am with the diabetics clinic at LGH and they have been helping me so much. This decision should lie with them. I feel like I have been kicked in the knees thanks to this surgery and Niraj. He promised me that my experience would not be the same as it was with Dr Trivedi (funny how they are all from the same circle) when in fact it has been MUCH WORSE.

Thank you for demoralising me and putting a massive cog in the works regarding my diabetes management. You people have made it so much worse!!!

Recently had to wait 3 weeks for my prescription. The actual doctors and nurses are lovely. Where as the receptionist staff are very rude and ignorant and definitely need courses on customer service.
