My Mum has just passed away and I can't think of anywhere better for to have lived the end of her days. She has been in a number of homes in the last year and nothing came close to Willowbrook. They were so caring and attentive that, for the first time, we were happy to leave her in their care without any misgivings. Their patience and attention to detail is second to none. I can highly recommend them without hesitation.

For the short time my dad was there I cannot fault willowbrook. Very clean, well organised home. The staff are wonderful so friendly and kind nothing was too much trouble. Working so hard with a smile on their faces.

DO NOT SEND ANYONE HERE. Have had to raise safeguarding complaints and wish I also brought it to the attention of the police due to neglect as we are still waiting for someone to get back to us from months ago. It is by no means specialist for mental health or dementia - residents are left to vegetate and wander corridors with no activities or outings arranged depsite what their website says. Dad is sensitive to sound and little is done to help with this carers even talk loudly in his face/ear despite telling them that is not helpful. Dad has had so many injuries and was never satisfied with the explanation as to how he got them as were told multiple stories I don't think they even knew despite the fact he should have had 1-to-1 care. All doctors visits have had to come from family flagging issues and not from their staff noticing or having concerns. Other residents enter his room and wee on the floor, leave dirty pads and nuggets of poo. On one occasion someone had a nose bleed(?) in his bathroom and it is never cleaned properly and many times has to be pointed out when we visit. A horrible place to go and just opens your eyes to how little these businesses care and what a money making scheme it all is.

UPDATE: upon leaving this review the carehome didnt contact me but my mum to blindside her. The manager wished to discuss the comments my mum didnt make with her and I have tried contacting the home to discuss MY review. I have been told through my mum they wont talk to me as they only have one point of contact with residents which is a lie as they have contacted me about my Dad on numerous occasions. This truly does shine a light on how they dont want to discuss the issues but simply dont like that it was made public and may affect business.

I love my time at willowbrook house I was treated all dignity and caring with most of the staff.i was very much involved in making choice about my care and treatment I received.i recieved info about my care in a good timely manner.i found the home was very well looked after and was alway clean and tidy we had a good team of house keeper look after the house. I found mostly I was treated with care kindness and compassion from most of the team I work with at willowbrook but I love working with the staff when I was on 1 to 1 support I got lots of help from them and loved going out with them .I feel the place was safe and we know that the staff were there to keep uses safe at all time if there was any problem that it was quickly deal with. I found the food was not that good for my dietary need but everyone to there own Opinion for the food but most of the other people love the food but I just felt there was not much of a choice.i think if it possibly the food need to improved a little bit.

But overall, I loved my time at willowbrook it thank to the support I got and the help I need that now I have moved onto a better place more suitable to my needs and I am loving my new home and it is so much more closer to my family which is better aswell

Wouldn't even give this place 1 star if it wasn't for the fact I had to, to post a review! Very unhappy with the service in which has been supplied. I no longer live in Corby, but visit my relative in the home regularly. On this specific visit I had to go in the care home to pick up my family member and was greeted with a very unpleasant smell, as well as this no staff member anywhere to be seen! As I entered the bedroom my nan was still sat in clothes she had been wearing for days and looked very upset, as if she had been neglected and ignored by the workers which upset me greatly. After taking her out of the home to go for lunch, she was still very upset and was hesitant to go back due to lack of concern for her well being. As we got back to the home my mother needed assistance getting my nan out the car, so went inside to find a nurse to help her; The weather wasn't particularly nice that day and was raining quite heavy. The nurse who came couldn't of come much further than a meter from outside the home, then insisted she had to go back in or 'her hair will get frizzy' leaving my mum to attend to my nan herself for the time being whilst the nurse went back inside to find someone else who could help us, I was absolutely appalled at this behaviour and the excuse on why she couldn't do her job properly! It disheartens me so much every time I have to come home knowing I've had to leave her in the hands of these people (I wouldn't call many of them carers!) and will be finding somewhere else for her to stay soon. Please if you have a relative DO NOT bring them to this home, unless you want the treatment of neglect and ignorance!

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star my mum was bed bound and had no call button as was broken reported this took them a week to.sort out also residents were randomly walking in her room no staff about I don't know where they got these workers from my mum has ended up in hospital due to there neglect and won't be returning there we have had to put numerous safeguarding issues in on the place please don't send your relative there no care in this place also number of things that are missing of my mums is ridiculous shocking place
