From the day mum moved into Willowbank to the very last day I can honestly say that my Mum was treated with dignity, love, care and friendship. The staff from the very beginning were so helpful and supportive and the love and warmth they showed my mum was outstanding. They dealt with her poor mental health immediately and always kept me informed and updated about any changes. I saw mum weekly, if not more and during the pandemic when times were so hard for me visiting they made my visits as comfortable as possible. Mum was cherished and cared for in a way that gave me comfort during the most painful and difficult couple of years I have ever had to experience. I cannot recommend a better care home - thank you to all of you. You have a special place in my heart x

My sister and I popped in here today, just to have a look round for future care. We were met with smiles and kindness. We had a full tour of the facility and left with some really good advice from staff members. Thank you for everything and all the advice you gave us today. Xx

Very nice, pleasant and affordable care home. Having looked around at a few options in the local area we settled on Willowbank, as the quality to affordability ratio was very good. From speaking to staff members it became apparent staff turnover was very low, which was important to us, so our grandmother has built up a relationship and rapport with staff. In particular Sal is wonderful and our grandmother greatly enjoys her company.

This is a fantastic place to home your loved ones. All the staff are so caring and every effort is made to make everyone feel so welcome. Having spoken to management, I know how much care, responsibility and respect goes into the day-to-day management of the home. Every consideration is taken into account and also the team are truly understanding of everyone's situation to make sure they can be as accommodating as possible.

Wouldn’t even give it 1 star … but you had to.
Unfortunately my grandma passed away in 2020 during covid due to neglect from Willow bank nursing Home in Burnley Lancashire.
My grandma had rheumatoid arthritis and she suffered with mental health.
Apart from this my grandma was a loving, funny, caring, mum and grandma.
Willow bank care home want to be ashamed of themselves.
During 2020, whilst Covid was happening unfortunately my grandma has ended up with an acute broken neck of femur which we found out after she had passed.
Which means she would’ve been in pain and the care home didn’t even report it.
My grandma struggled with her arthritis, but she was never incompetent like the care home seem to think that she was.
They have taken no accountability and my family are suffering without getting any answers .
How can Willow bank not take accountability for the numerous times that my grandma was stolen from when she was alive and after her passing, this includes perfume money, food.
My family have not received justice since this is has happened.
Especially my mum and my aunties. Who have now lost their mum, due to the care homes inability to care for my grandma.
Willow bank is disgusting and god forbid this happens to anyone else.

Will not let me post unless I click on a star- my mum passed away on 02-12-2020.
Do NOT put Your loved ones in Willow Bank Care Home. SHOCKING - Some of the staff were stealing from my mum when she was alive, and then again helping themselves to my mum‘s stuff from her bedroom after she had passed away.
After my mum died, we found out she had an acute fractured neck of femur and nobody could pinpoint when, where or how it happened even though it happened during COVID when nobody was allowed in the care home and she was not allowed out. She was in a wheelchair and it took 2 members of staff to move her from one chair to another.
A qualified nurse went to give my mum her medication, Luckily, my mum noticed and told the nurse that the tablets were not hers.
My list could go on and on.
We have had safeguarding, CQC and LCC involved, and they have come back with neglect on some parts.

I can't believe how many positive reviews have been put on here from their own members of staff after I put my review on here and the same with
www carehome,
which wouldn't let me put it on because it happened over 12 months ago.

Very surprised to see negative reviews as they do not reflect my experience with Willowbank at all. My relative was treated with nothing but compassion and respect during their time at the home. I would gladly recommend Willowbank to anyone looking for a care home for a loved one.

My grandmother was at Willowbank for a number of years. I have nothing but kind words to say about the home and staff. Her health declined rapidly towards the end and the care and support they showed to her and to us to this day stays in my mind.
