Yes, there's always a queue when you phone but at least the message tells you where you are in the queue. That way you know if you can leave it ringing while you do something else for 5 minutes.

I've been really impressed with this GP surgery. They've sorted out medication kerfuffle without me having to do much at all, and they've seen me on an urgent basis and been very nice about it all.

If you ring on Monday morning you will wait ages on the phone and probably can't be seen that day, but that's the case for all GP practices now unfortunately.

The majority of GPs at this surgery are excellent - I've had an excellent experience with all of them, feeling listened to and my needs addressed promptly. The exception to this is Dr Ahmed, who unfortunately always leaves me with the feeling of being dismissed - I would not personally recommend seeing him, but YMMV.

As for getting appointments there is a knack to it: call at 8:30 in the morning to get in the queue for an appointment that day. Otherwise, if you don't need an urgent appointment simply use an app (e.g. the NHS app), link it with the surgery, and book an advanced appointment - which includes out-of-hours appointments.

Absolutely ridiculous. Called up and waited on the phone for almost 2 hours for someone to actually answer the phone as was told when I turned up that I had to call to make an appointment.

Great GP, responsive and able to get appointment on the day as long as its an urgent health concern. Compared to other GPs across the country, they are wonderful.

Had issues with daughters milk at pharmacy and doctors not only changed her prescription out of hours due to being closed on the weekend but hand delivered it to the house so she could get prescription in on Saturday. Nurses and doctors seen for either myself or daughters have been good and polite.

So hard to get through on the phone. Also annoying that when you walk in to the front desk, you get left standing there whilst they have their own conversation behind the screen and don’t even acknowledge you. Glad to finally have moved surgery
