Me..
Being brought up on the love
Of a good book
Being relativity poor.
Dad working in whiteheads.
And several other jobs.
Mum working as well..
Five children...
But we had a loving life.
Full of adventures every weekend.out in the fresh air..
With the cocker, and the morris minor.. eating all the strawberries ,like you did and paying tuppence for a small punnet.
Birds angel delight
Doctor who....

Theses books ,which I brought from the not pushy gent in wild and homeless are what my life is,and was.
Dad was treasurer of the local horticulture grew his own.
I was councillor and will be again..
And we adore the county we live inand will defend every living thing in it..
Proud of my dad..
And proud that he could afford such lovely books for me too read..
And of course my mum.
For making birds angels delight and convincing me.
Vesta curry actually had meat in it...

I'm not the owner but I agree with Jon's assessment!

My main interest is railways and there was a very good stock of railway-related books.
As well as a shop-full of other books!

Well worth a visit

This is a fantastic second hand bookshop. The owner has a large collection of second hand books and knows his stock well. If you have a requirement for something obscure or unusual he can probably find it or tell you the best place to go. Good book knowledge, good stock and very helpful.

A very good second-hand bookstore. Strong on cricket, railways, military history. Weak on bongo.
