As a day tripper to Whitstable from London I have to praise the centre 100% for their kindness, attention and after care. After a nasty fall on the beach and lacerations to my face and suspect broken bone to my hand the team set to work on me very quickly! I was regularly updated with what was happening and even given refreshments. As a lone traveler I felt comforted by the staff after experiencing such a shock. Many thanks to the team who looked after me and to the centre for their amazing care in A&E!

Having been a bit of a critic of not being able to get a GP appointment, I had cause to call this morning at 08.00 requiring some medical assistance. I got a call back from George Young in the Same Day Hub who got me to go in and see him almost immediately.

I saw George, who I must say was better than any GP I have ever seen.
I had a moan about how everything has changed and he took the time to discuss all my issues and gave me a thorough examination. He was interested, considerate and extremely personable.
All in all I received a first class service today and left very happy and reassured.
So thank you George for your time and very
patient approach to this old cynic!
You are a star and I do hope Dr Ribchester gets to see this review.

Poor surgery lack of care to people hold meetings behind your back with doctors you never met send appointments you dont book , home care poor poor follow up of patients ,sent to another hospital for simple blood test from urgent treatment centre ,too many patients unable to care for them all in community some only get telephone consults and no visits.
When I'll they do not want to see people in the community and rely on poor district nursing service.

Normally receive an outstanding service, however I contacted the surgery today for a telephone consultation with a doctor. It was Covid related and although I was aware of the voice recording stating to contact 111 with anything Covid related. 111 NHS website states to contact your GP surgery and after a not so pleasant weekend I wanted to speak to my own doctor. Only to be cut short abruptly by the receptionist mid way explaining my problem. Feeling quite fragile and emotional I hung up rang 111 only for them to ask if I'd contacted my GP (was very confused with being passed here and there) the gentleman booked me a telephone consultation with a doctor at the surgery which was a huge help. I know we are all dealing with unprecedented situations in this pandemic but a little empathy from your doctor's receptionist and for them to actually listen to the reason of your call without jumping down your throat surely is the approach the receptionist should be taking not to make the patient feel worthless and nothing but an inconvenience.

Prompt service, I moved area and fought to keep my doctors due to the service. My usual doctor calls and he knows my history, continuity. In a world where people have problems getting through i am presently grateful.

Dr chandler is the best. As for Dr Bryce. What a joke. Sorry. Needs to be said. I'm a carer. Was very depressed. Went sick. Dealing with covid clients. When I asked for another certificate. His word's. Can't keep doing this. Had to talk to him today. Foot so swollen. I got. You need to get here. I can't drive. He literally doesn't care. Sent a text to be there before 6.30. didn't listen to me what's so ever

The reception staff were unpleasant and condescending when I queried about registering my husband as a temporary patient (Irish on holiday) Thankfully a GP practice in the neighbouring town was very happy to assist me.
