Well well well. I was feeling very disappointed after my last visit at the Whitehorse practice Croydon. I have always tried not to book an appointment with Dr nuwfoh (still wondering how she got her qualifications to even practice). When I lost my first child many years ago I went to see her for some support and chat about bereavement. I was very confused as she appeared to have a smirk on her face and the lack of empathy and interest in what I was saying. Instead she TOLD me I was depressed and needed medication. I said I will practice good healthcare without meds. Anyway she encouraged me to take. I felt so poorly so many side effects. I came off them within weeks. So after that experience I thought just book a different GP. Dr Charlton has left who was fantastic as was Dr Arjun. Only good Dr left there is Dr Shazia khan. Very attentive to others needs and not always eager to prescribe. Recently I had to book an appointment with Dr nuwfoh. She prescribed an ear spray... (Note this was a telephone appointment) She said I had an ear infection on the phone. Without looking at my ears. Then I called the surgery to say I don't want the Teva brand as it is on the boycott list and for ethical reasons I will not take any medication that is not ethically sourced. Reception said they will speak to nuwfoh however she ignored all my requests. I was in agony with and had to go to a and e and speak to Dr Shazia khan.Things went from bad to worse with Dr nuwfoh. I called reception and said I need my ears looking at as had blood coming out and acute pain I could not move and have been off sick first time ever in my life. I finally got an appointment with nuwfoh and she made me wait till last patient knowing my appointment was before many patients who were there. The reception told me on the phone which appointment to book online. I even called them and visited them to say it doesn't say face to face. Reception said don't worry nuwfoh knows it's face to face. Nuwfoh still made me wait till last. And even then walked past going to the toilet with smirk on her face. I got in the room and she didn't want to prescribe me painkillers... Only until I told her I'll have to speak with my consultant as I have acute pain and a diagnosis. She had no idea what I wanted and I had to tell her what I needed blood testa and what for. She didn't have any idea what to prescribe. Just said go and buy paracetamol. I had to tell her what I'm suffering from and even then she had a smirk on her face. Even the hand gestures and body language showed her disinterest in my wellbeing. Honestly I felt so distraught after leaving her room and the way she makes you feel . This all started all because I said I do not want a Teva product. Anyway I got home and wrote a review which took a few days to appear on I want care. (By the way all reviews for her are one star). And on the same day. She sent me a letter I received the following week dated the fifth November stating I have made the receptionist feel uncomfortable. Now looking at the reviews below I can see it's not only me who has a problem everytime trying to call or visit the practice. This letter was clearly written because I stated I don't want a Teva product which is an Isr aeli company. It started from that. I believe we all have a right to choose for ethical and moral reasons what goes inside our body. It was dismissed. And to make it worse the same receptionist and the GP nuwfoh caused me a great deal of distress. I have discussed this in a group where all locals have stated the same about this particular GP and reception and I moved surgery immediately. The new surgery have already made two appointments for specialist support.i can't get that support with nuwfoh because they don't listen to your needs or give you an appointment. And diagnosing on the phone is absolutely shocking. Even Dr khan asked how I got that diagnosis. I told her. I do not recommend this practice. also.apparently nuwfoh has inherited this practice hence the control she has. Never again . Should not be allowed to practice.

Every time I’ve come to this surgery I’ve had to wait over half hr to be seen also being forced constantly to walk up the stairs which I refuse to as I suffer from chronic knee pains that makes me immobile, the dr who I won’t name always seems lazy and uninterested as if she’s just in a rush to get u out also she stopped my meds without even evaluating me when I suffer from chronic pain and mental health.overall the receptionists are always rude and have an attitude it is by far the worst surgery I’ve ever been to my entire life, they never want to make a face to face app and hardly ever have any appointments available, just an all over bad place to go about ur health! I’ve just had an emergency C section and being forced to walk up well over a dozen stairs.

Not one to go doctors regularly in my adult age, but I deal with many clients who have extremely bad experiences with their Gp practices & realised how great my one is.
I can always get an appointment even if it’s 2 wks, it’s still better than months away. A call back always happens when it’s scheduled too & the receptionist team are courteous & respectful.
When it comes to the doctors, I ask for who I need to see as there’s one who I never want to see & I’m happy that I have the option to state that without judgment.
Really grateful that I’m registered here & just wanted to show my gratitude x

This GP practice is deeply disappointing. From the receptionists to most of the doctors, there’s a pervasive rudeness that overshadows the kindness of the one friendly doctor. No one seems willing to go above and beyond for patients, raising serious questions about their dedication. This place feels fundamentally wrong. My attempts to reach the manager for a direct complaint have been futile, met with constant obstacles. It’s alarming that people are risking their health and lives by relying on this surgery.

Dr Nwufoh is rude, dismissive and lazy. She should not be trusted to provide any sort of care for anyone. I had a phone consultation with her about my symptoms clearly linked to insomnia and was told “ I don’t understand what you expect us to help medically with that” not even a referral to a sleep specialist. She needs to be removed from any medical setting because she’s clearly here to get paid and not do any sort of work for her Patients.

If there was something below a star I would have given. What a shame the receptionist is very rude on phone like she has been hired to send away patients. Guys if you don't have the passion to practice medicine please don't do it. People start to feel better by how they are talked to very poor service and people not nice that is my experience.

This GP is extremely disgusting the doctors don't want to work , they are booking appointments by phone after 1 week and face to face appointment after 2 or 3 weeks time , even if U have a serious illness,do not join this GP if U have a serious illness go to another one 🙂
