Just wanted to say a sincere thank you to Whitehall Medical Practice, their reception staff and Dr Alexandra Watts. Booking a GP appointment with them is extremely easy and no need to wait on the phone for hours, I submitted an online request at 8:30am in the morning and in less than half an hour I already had an appointment for that day, which was amazing and helped me relieve my anxiety. My doctor was extremely professional and showed empathy and care whilst also explaining everything perfectly, couldn’t recommend this place more 🫶🏻

Just received text from surgery reminding me of a ‘discussion’ I had in November with a Dr. Watts. Just to inform you, I have never had a ‘discussion’ with this person. I received various text messages, which I responded to, and made a follow up visit, as recommended, to Dietician. If this person ever bothers to read my notes, she would be aware of my situation and the plan that was made moving forward, which is also in my notes. I am not a robot. I am a human. My experience of this practice has always been excellent but to send out automated text messages without checking facts in a patients notes is so very wrong.

Attempted to attend a dermatology appointment today, but got caught in traffic. Phoned ahead to let them know that I'd be less than 5 minutes late, but the Receptionist couldn't see my appt. on her system, but said she'd try and let them know. Car park was full, so I had to park on the side roads with only one hour parking allowed. After waiting for an hour in the waiting room, I went to reception to tell them that I now had to move my car, and that I hadn't expected to be more than an hour. I was told that they have no way of letting the Dermatology staff know this. I suspect that when I phoned ahead to inform them I was going to be late, the message didn't get through to the Doctor, I'd already been called, and I'd have been sitting there for hours, because no one could let the Dermatology staff know I was there. I cancelled the appointment there and then. It took one hour to travel there and 45 minutes to return. Never again.

Bad, bad, bad and a very bad place runs by rude, incompetent, third- class nurses and doctors. Avoid as a plague. They don't do their duties. I am full-time working person, end up with the chest infection, and some Adrian, 70 years old greedy nurse practitioner with the bold head, told me if he would prescribe me antibiotic and I it will help to my chest, next time I will ask again for an antibiotics. According to him he doesn't want me to feel better that's a reason why he doesn't prescribed me medication. And I have to go to different places to have prescription of antibiotics to remove the infection.
But I must to say people are working in reception today much better than it was last years, when the old woman used to work there. however, I was there only twice this week, seeking for help and wasting my time. Maybe it was my lucky days to see polite and sympathetic receptionists.

What a difference this surgery is to my old one. I feel listened to, nothing is to much trouble, you are not being written a prescription before you speak and the GPS and reception staff are great. The automated appointment system works so well.
Thankyou for making me feel human. 😀

They gave wrong information, i had to go to see a consultant in private who told me what they said was wrong. I managed to treat my problem through private insurance. The Gp doctor i have seen was also rude and hurried me up even though i had to wait 30 mins more to see her. She shouldn’t work there, i am sorry.

Dr's amazing - general running of the practice by the reception staff, terrible.
I was unable to book a follow up appointment at reception...... I was told to use the online form... I'm standing at reception though - what if someone does not have access to the internet, how are they supposed to book an appointment... SHOCKING

I am a relativity new patient to this practice, I have been seen by Dr. Makki on two occasions and I can't fault him, he makes you feel comfortable and is thorough. I hope the rest of the staff are like him.
