Recently had the spa experience, the staff were very helpful with accommodating a change of date for us, on arrival we had a warm welcome with the staff going through the health questionnaire and giving us a tour of the facilities. The spa itself was so nice and relaxing, we enjoyed a back massage which was nice to relax and recharge

Don’t you just love a friend who calls you late last night to ask if you are free for a spa day as her daughter had to cancel šŸ‘ Yes I’m free and this spa is our favourite at the moment. It’s sooo clean, soooo relaxing, sooooo fabulous. Underfloor heating šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘ all run off from the solar panels. There is only ever 10 allowed in the pool and spa so never busy. Highly recommend their new girl Vicky Martin for treatments, she was excellent and the food is always nice here. Lunch was included and their restaurant serves fabulous gourmet food. Just won a ā€˜Good Food Award’. Yes pricey but pay for what you get in here in our opinion. 10/10 šŸ‘œ handbag spa and restaurant review for today.

One of the nicest meals I have had in a long time. There were 6 of us for the meal, and the food arrived quickly. Everyone commented on the great quality. I had a goat cheese and salmon pie, something I would usually never have, and it was delicious! Highly recommended!

My Wife and I visited for a relaxing Spa experience, using the gym, the pool facilities, having lunch and a massage. Having been to a a competing Spa in North Wales, I can heartily recommend this as an actual ā€˜Spa’

Upon entering, there’s a warm welcoming reception. The staff are all very calm, knowledgeable and friendly.

We were showed around and then got cracking with chilling!

The gym is perfectly functional, with a handful of good machines and a cable machine, a handful of pieces of cardio equipment and some free weights. I lift often and managed a decent workout with the limited but fairly heavy kit.

The pool area is lovely and warm at 30 degrees. The pool is heated nicely to a comfortable level and they enrich the water with natural salt and minerals. Inside, there’s also a sauna and steam room, both comfortable, and an ice bucket for after. Outside, there’s a small jacuzzi which is 40+ degrees, akin to a bath.

Food-wise, the coffees are lovely and the food was really delicious; above standard. The chicken wrap was changed to a burger for us to make it gluten free, and the veggie burger is very, very tasty. Salads were fresh and varied.

The massages (back neck and shoulder) were very good for us both. They have two rooms (I think) and each has one heated bed. They used lovely oils etc and listened to the desired massage style for us both. Steph was very good at deep tissue, as I asked!

Everywhere is very tidy, clean and exceptionally well maintained. Theres a very calm and serene vibe here, party as its adults only, and party as they limit numbers around the pool area. Overall, we were very pleased and I’d heartily recommend a visit.

If you found this helpful, give it a like so others see it. Thanks!

I visited this spa after my sister highly recommended it, but unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to expectations. Upon entering the changing rooms, another guest mentioned that nothing was working properly due to ongoing hotel works, which were also causing power cuts. Despite this, I decided to continue with my visit.

When I entered the main pool, it was freezing—so cold that it was causing muscle discomfort rather than relaxation. I even checked with my sister, who confirmed it’s not usually that cold. My partner tried the sauna, which he described as a lukewarm shed. He had to keep adding water himself, but the heat never increased. The steam room was also underwhelming.

The outdoor jacuzzi was at least warm, but the chlorine levels were excessive, to the point where the steam was stinging my eyes, and there was an unusual amount of foam on the surface.

When leaving, a different staff member was at reception but didn’t acknowledge us, ask about our visit, or say goodbye. Given the issues we experienced, I wouldn’t return, as there are much better spas available.

Lovely place! Taken off one star because the steam room wasn’t working and was also told by another client in the SPA that last time outside jacuzzi was out of order so seems to be a pattern.
But nonetheless the place is lovely. The selling point are of course their sea water hot jacuzzi outside and the non-chlorinated pool indoors. Was pure bliss to swim and relax.

I visited here a couple of weeks ago to have a pregnancy massage for the first time by the lovely therapist, Stephanie. As soon as I entered the spa I was greeted with a lovely warm welcome and shown around the spa with ease. I had a lovely relax in the facilities area before my treatment. Stephanie was very professional and attentive during my treatment and made sure I was comfortable & relaxed throughout the duration of the treatment. She used a lovely product with a cooling sensation to massage my legs with which felt amazing for my aches and pains! šŸ˜ I wouldn't hesitate to book a pregnancy massage here as you definitely wouldn't be disappointed! 100% reccomend, thank you!

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit here. Lunch was great. I had chicken and mushroom with ham hock and leek risotto. Steph is a fantastic massage. Would highly recommend.
