Have called up several times after 5pm to try and book an appointment (I work until 5 everyday and unable to wait an hour to try and get through to reception). Once I say what the problem is the reception suddenly can’t hear me and screams down the phone at me. Funny how I can hear them perfectly, I have full signal and there were no issues until I asked to see a nurse! Don’t work in healthcare if you cannot be bothered to help people- an attempt to call back or even text would be appreciated.

It's great to have a comprehensive medical unit in our area. Large, clean and the car park is a decent size, though the entrance is a bit dodgy. Not having to go further afield for x-rays is a benefit the local youth probably can't relate to. But I remember those days.

I should preface this with the fact that the actual medical staff here are amazing. However, this place needs to fire its reception staff and hire a whole new team. Refusing to book patient appointments because the untrained receptionist thinks you either aren't worth their time or you don't need a doctor in their own opinion is a disgusting and frankly not acceptable way to run a GP practise in any way shape or form.

I have nothing but praise and respect for this practice. They are kind, considerate, and exceptionally helpful. Considering the stresses and strains these people are under they do an exceptional job. I would love to know where a bit of patience and a lot of respect have dissapeared to these days. Thank you Westbury white horse practice.

Went there to be treated by the IHG. Fantastic. Really nice folk. I was very very nervous, everything was explained andI was put at ease as much as could be expected. First rate treatment from initial reception, pre-routine, being treated to recovery and being allowed home. Brilliant team. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Shame it's an hour away.

When I first joined this health centre over 10 years ago, getting an appointment was easy. I hardly ever need an appointment anyway, but now, when I do, it’s impossible. The receptionists seem to have the power to put people’s lives on hold. I believe all the medical staff themselves are still excellent. Covid jabs very efficient,. Repeat prescriptions very efficient. If you are called in for routine checks, very efficient. But you cannot make your own appointment. The hours I have spent on the phone.

My appointment was cancelled due to staff illness, so went down to make a new appointment. Nobody waiting at reception , the place deserted and three jolly ladies waiting to look after me. i was told that a patient had cancelled last minute and they could probably fit me in. My blood test was done and finished five minutes later. i was well chuffed. Five star service !
