I have had reason to use Unity health Kimberly hill over the last six weeks and I found them to be excellent,
I had a very quick response to my request to see the Doctor ( same day appointment) The doctor the Nurses and reception staff all amazing ,a very quick hospital visit was arranged and the nurses and specialists were very helpful and most of all very reassuring.

Repeatedly poor experiences: Unsympathetic, unhelpful receptionists. I’ve had multiple failings from unity health and I am going to be changing healthcare providers. Any students moving to York I would recommend keeping your home GP.

My partner has a repeat prescription for lifesaving medication. Medication that will leave her at high risk of DVT, stroke or death if not taken. It has taken weeks of contacting the surgery and they have still failed to sign off the prescription. This is just the latest, worst example of this happening every time her medication runs out.

As for appointments? Impossible to get within the same month that you need it. The last time she got a doctor's app she waited weeks and weeks for it, and at the last minute it was changed to a phone call with a nurse.

This doctors surgery is a joke and I wonder how many people have died due to their incompetence.

Do NOT sign up to this joke of a medical practice. They should be ashamed.

Absolutely useless. Receptionists are almost always rude and unhelpful, but what’s worse is that they don’t do their job properly. The GP here is supposed to be responsible for my repeat prescriptions and I had requested my medication quite a while ago, but nothing until I’ve run out so I phoned up the pharmacy and they told me there has been no prescriptions for me (what does that even mean?). I’ve had several issues before as well and they can’t do something as simple as uploading some documentation onto the system. I don’t understand how they can do this, people could die because of the extent to which the clinic’s pathetic staff don’t care. Avoid at all costs if you can.

I've been here 2-3 times and each GP I've seen was absolutely amazing, honestly some of the best I've ever had. Reception were nice too! Only downside is how long the wait times are for appointments but that's more of an issue with Unity Health as a whole. The GP's I've seen were super reassuring, kind and helpful!

I've been with Wenlock/Unity for ever. I understand how hard the job can be. However, it is now useless, took the Dr. 5 days to call me back after I'd sent pictures of a rash that turned out to be Shingles. No treatment avail due to the delay and when you call now it takes about 40-60 minutes to get through and then when you do they dont act. I requested my sick note to be emailed. They said they were sending it "now" - 5 hrs later, still nothing and another 40/60 minute wait!! Bloody aweful.

I always had a pleasant experience when phoning this surgery but when I had an emergency and had was told by 111 to get an emergency appointment I was informed by the surgery that I was no longer a patient and I had been taken off the register without any explanation. Not only did this effect the emergency of my pain but also meant I was unable to get my covid vaccination. I informed them that I was in pain but they would not help so now I am trying to find someone who will help as the pain is getting worse.
I am disgusted that they had no reason to take me off their books and then not to offer help when I was having an emergency. I will now have to go to A&E and waste their time.

An amazing practice who are there when you really need them.
I urgently needed to see someone today was not a problem they triaged the situation immediately on calling in and was able to see someone this afternoon.
The staff are amazing across the whole team and thank you for everything
