I think some of the doctors are good. But there is a lack of communication between the doctors surgery and pharmacy. I lost the count of times, recently where I have to go to speak to the receptionists at the surgery about my prescription. Some of the receptionists are rude and don't get back to me. When they said they or dr would. And at times they can be rude in person or on the phone. I find it too stressful to deal with. Other than that I think it is a good surgery.

Just spoke to my tearful eighty year old grandmother. She's currently waiting for an ambulance to arrive as she's been having signs of bowel cancer for months and now a fast heart rate. She said she's been calling the surgery and been regularly laughed at by the receptionist who makes comments like "how many times have you called today then" and she's only given phone consultations a month later. We lost my grandfather to the same illness last year, under the same surgery. Both grandparents were housebound and the surgery acts like this is a huge inconvenience and made two elderly people feel noticeably uncomfortable knowing that older people often don't like to be seen as "making a fuss". My nan hasn't left the house in years and has coexisting mental health issues and all you do is pile her up with tablets. Mandatory health checks are not carried out and my poor grandmother is saying that she "wants to die" because she can't get the right help and that the ambulance people are the only people who will probably help her. You have a complete lack of care, respect and ownership over the way you treat the vulnerable patients of this practice and whilst you feel that it's acceptable to speak to an old lady in this way, you won't be speaking to me like that. How dare you. Tried to call to make a complaint, im 20th in the queue. I will be contacting PALS. I had every sympathy for NHS staff struggling and funding cuts etc but the way you SPEAK to people is deplorable. What happened to having respect and care for the elderly, how could you be so cruel? You'll regret this.

We’ve been so happy to find this surgery. Firstly, the receptionist is so friendly and gives you plenty of time to explain your needs etc. Really quick to get appointments and brilliant to have follow ups via text. Doctor was really good and we didn’t feel rushed. Easy to book in for jabs. Couldn’t ask for more, so great to see doctors surgeries like this still exist!

I’ve always found this surgery and all the staff, from reception to the nurses to the Drs, to be incredibly helpful and go above and beyond even if I’m struggling in the morning to get to an appt which is on me, but alas can happen for me. I’ve been many times and felt very cared for. Thank you wells road surgery

Nice enough and helpful on the phone. Shambles behind the scenes. Running off paper forms that you have to complete in the surgery
openig hours and cancel appointments with no suitable alternatives. Total joke!

Our family have had such wonderful support from the whole team at Wells Road. They are responsive, compassionate and have provided the treatment we've needed. We are always saying to our friends how lucky we feel that this is our surgery.

Very impressive & efficient service from the Practice today. I received a response to my online form within a couple of hours with a prescription sent to my requested pharmacy - fantastic. Thank you. NHS at it's best.
