Why is it that Great Hom surgery does not do a basic courtesy of signing text or email, so who they are from, so if you have a query or a question, you can go directly to the the person and sort it out. Because I have a problem with repeat prescriptions that have been in place for years. Every three months, I have a review with a doctor to make sure they are still relevant. But then when there's a cocktail up with them (which happens regularly) you cannot speak to the prescription clerk as she is now based at Kiln Farm and not at the surgery, like she was for years, so some bright spark changed it not for the benefit of the patient was this a cost cutting exercise that does not work.

I was not able to get to the surgery for an offered appointment and asked for it to be a phone call instead of face to face. the receptionist was very rude and refused to listen to my questions about speaking to the doctor. I was finally put through to the doctor he treated me with hostility and was not like any doctor I’ve ever had. He then proceeded to hang up after being rude. I am shocked to have had to experience this with people that are supposed to help us. Very disappointed.

I was incredibly impressed with my recent visit to Watling Practice @ Great Holm. I have recently transferred ourselves from Whitehouse GP to Watling Practice as we couldn’t get an appointment at Whitehouse GP. Switching to Great Holm GP is the best decision I have ever made! Their online appointment booking process was incredibly efficient, a stark contrast to the endless wait times I experienced at my previous surgery in Whitehouse. One of the staffs called me back the next day for the doctor appointment. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the clinic's overall atmosphere was welcoming.
My daughter's doctor was exceptional. She conducted a thorough examination, explained everything clearly, and even involved a medical student to provide additional support. The entire process was smooth and efficient, leaving me with a positive impression of the surgery.
I'm so glad I made the switch to Watling Surgery!! It's clear that they prioritize patient care and convenience, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a GP.

Still running vaccine sessions in the mass style of covid, even for the flu shot.

This involved forcing vulnerable people to stand in line waiting and completely ignoring the order of booked appointments.

Dehumanising patients maybe more efficient for the surgery, but it really sums up what they think of patients.

I visited this practice at 3pm on the 1/11/2024 at 3pm for an ECG and was greeted by a staff member Mr Channa and he put me at ease, extremely friendly and efficient and an absolute asset to this surgery.

If you're going to rely on IT systems to deliver your service then please make sure that they work. And don't tell me to go 111 or 999 when I've already been there and they're telling me to contact you through your website from 7am. And your website is not working.

Recently moved to this surgery from another in the area. I've had to use them a couple of times and everything has been great. I've managed to get appointments with ease. I love the online service as you can message them in evening and they have always responded the following day. Staff very friendly too. I didn't realise GP surgeries could be this good and would highly recommend them.
