Dr. Santhouse deserves special mention for being attentive, caring, and patient during my visits to the surgery. She took the time to listen to my concerns and provided thoughtful advice and recommendations . Despite the demanding nature of their jobs, both Paulina and Dr. Santhouse ensure I felt supported and cared for. Their dedication and effort do not go unnoticed and are truly appreciated. The doctors at this surgery are amazing. I have been with them for the last 16 years. The staff have been with me through my 2 pregnancies and then as my children have gone into their teenage years. Everyone from the reception staff, pharmacists and nurses to the doctors have been kind and attentive and listened to our ailments, giving urgent referrals when required and valuable advice. I couldn't thank you all enough for everything you do for us.

Dealing with the reception staff here was an absolute nightmare. I was referred by A&E, and when Watling Medical Centre initially called me, I missed it, so I rang back. After waiting on hold for about an hour, the receptionist answered but kept saying, "I hear what you're saying, but can you repeat that?" before abruptly hanging up on me. I called back again, waited another hour, and the same receptionist picked up. Before I could explain that I was an A&E referral and Watling Medical Centre had already called me, she repeatedly told me, "You must call back tomorrow at 8:30 AM," and then hung up again.

The experience was incredibly frustrating. The receptionist seemed more interested in getting me off the phone than actually helping. If you’re expecting any level of care or understanding, prepare to be disappointed. This place clearly prioritizes pushing patients away over offering any real assistance. Absolutely would not recommend!

At present I hope that I am coming to the end of a 2 month long chest-infection.It has weakened me a lot and rendered me incapable of my usual work.
I have been ministered to by the Watling Medical Centre. In all I have had four separate appointments, and met a number of medical and reception staff. I end up with a really high regard for both the professionalism and supportive attention I'v encountered.
In 81 years I have been in a variety of medical centers in different countries. Watling Centre is right up there with the very best which I have know. I am very grateful to be cared from by them, and wish every success and happiness in the future.

Yes I did had a misunderstanding with the reception and yes Alexandra appeared and sort out everything with professionalism.
What matters that in the end I have received a professional final result.
I am happy to be part of Watling Medical Center Burnt Oak.
We all do mistakes important is what actions we take in order ti straight out the mistakes that we did!

What can i say i am in terrible pain over a month and a half with frozen shoulder and speaking to Alexandra this morning made me feel much better and booked me for a cortisol injection with Dr Khambai who asked me to come after Christmas to administer one if the pain doesn't improve .Lucky you have someone like her ,she is a breath of fresh air, over my 25 years+with you i never talked to a receptionist with such good manners and professionalism and a good smile at the end after thanking her.Some others ones mention no names they come across patronising and scare to talk to, thinking they are doctors themselves and run the place.Lynne the supervisor is only an exception just as good to help you out and talk to.All the doctors are brilliant by the way i forgot to say .

I feel very well looked after by Watling Medical Centre. For example today a Dr rang me to follow up on a comment made in a clinic letter from the hospital. He explained things very clearly and proposed a follow up action. Within an hour, I had a call from the receptionist to arrange my next appointment.
I appreciate this pro-active response to my care. This is just one example and my experience during more than 20 years at this surgery is very positive. Thank you
