The loss of the dedicated diabetic Wansford practice nurse with no sign of replacement is a significant backward step. The other Nurses are pleasant but not specialists. We had to resort to a private GP service to get a long overdue review of meds which had a significant impact. On line communication with the practice has been “temporarily suspended” for many months so this review is the only way to give this feedback. Diabetes underpins so many other serious conditions that the loss of this staff member may impact future local health outcomes but probably improves the 2 partner’s bottom line. The practice feels increasingly remote and unapproachable from the local population it serves unlike practices in places eg the New Forest where the local practice networks have fabulous diabetic and chronic disease interactive support available on line. Way to go perhaps improved network connections?

I asked for a same day appointment due to a concern that's been ongoing nearly 8 weeks, I got told to fill in a form! The reply was "someone will reply in 2 working days" God forbid you actually ask for a same day appointment for something that could be serious as you won't get it! This surgery used to be the best in the area, they're pretty diabolical now to be honest. One nurse in particular speaks down to you in a condescending manner and is so rude.
You'll be lucky getting an appointment 2 weeks away! They seem very rare!

Wansford and Kings Cliff Surgery is awesome. All staff including reception staff, telephone call handlers, pharmacy and Dr.s are both friendly and helpful. They all seem to have time to listen and want to provide an amazing and professional service. I would never consider leaving for an alternative practice.

We are lucky to have such a good surgery, the only issue is the length of time for a routine appointment can be weeks, but it's like that at every surgery nationwide it seems.
When you phone your not left hanging for ages in a que I think the most I've had to wait is que position 6.
Staff are polite.

I recently attended Wansford Surgery for the first time. The waiting room was welcoming and comfortable. I overheard reception staff dealing with other patients and they not only sounded knowledgeable but they were also friendly and courteous.
My appointment was with Dr Atterton and Michelle and they were both really reassuring and friendly. The service was running to time and very efficient.

Never able to get an appointment, always a phonecall back, I have been on the phone to GPS here in distress and they just don't care. No reassurance what so ever. Just feel lost and even more anxious that you can't even get help these days off medical professionals! This is people's lives, its disgusting!

I don’t usually review places but the team here are so wonderful I wanted to. Moving from the city where it was a nightmare to ever get an appointment and it was always rushed, the team here are so kind and helpful. They reception team and Dr’s and nurses are lovely, friendly, and helpful. They go above and beyond and it’s always easy to get in touch when needed. Hugely appreciated!
