I contacted the practice as I've had neck and back pain due to exercise, 2 young kids and a job with a lot of laptop time and driving. I don't realise how stiff I was. The Practice Manager made me feel very welcome and told me what to expect when I booked. I was lucky to have Alexia as my Osteopath who had 34 years of experience and immediately diagnosed my problem. The first visit I took to Alexia's warm personality which made me feel at ease and we went straight into the treatment which felt like I was unlocked after several decades! I can recommend this practice and indeed Alexia to a high degree and look forward to subsequent visits

I could write a book on how individuals from this practice over the last 25yrs have successfully treated my chronic back and neck problems enabling me to be very active and enjoy independent life at 73yrs.
Currently I have treatment from Cara Ash as and when I need it. Not only does this keep me mobile the exercises given are strengthening my muscles. From time to time I push myself too far resulting in excruciating lower back spasms but I don't panick too much as I know how to manage it. Then see Cara for treatment and some follow ups if needed. What i love is it's 2 way I take responsibility to listen to what works for me during and after treatments. I do the exercises and ask Cara to check if I'm doing them right. Apply ice packs when needed etc.
I think I've got so many benefits from this practice that there isn't room or time to say.
I tried 7 different types of treatments from different places before finding Wakefield Osteopaths and I so wish I had found them 1st.

Went to see Andrew about a back injury. He diagnosed and treated the issue quickly which immediately provided relief. He gave me some exercises to avoid a reoccurrence of the injury, as well as also treating some lingering pain issues I've had. Would highly recommend going to see him if you're experiencing back issues.
