I joined this surgery recently and found the receptionist very helpful and kind.

The receptionist explained the system and asked if I could call back at midday to book an appointment. At midday I was given a 5.10pm appointment (excellent service). Since at my previous surgery Princes Park Heath Centre I tried for two months to get an appointment to no avail.

The Heath Care Practitioner (Danny)
was excellent and he gave me a full examination, had read all my notes prior to me going into his room and he was extremely caring. I left the Surgery with a prescription.

Arrived 9.35 for 9.40 blood test checked in twice machine says we know you a re here. After 45 minute wait finally managed to speak to receptionist JUST ONE as she was busy typing up what patient where saying to her, totally pointless exercise. She commented I had been called but nothing came up on the board. She apologised but I then get text from them slagging me for missing the appointment. Moral of the story check in with a human not the machine. Nothing wrong with the receptionist it is the Vita health people RUBBISH

seen this surgery go downhill fast over the last couple years , now almost impossible to get appointment, receptionist often rude, unhelpful, and have a dont care attitude, had copd tests and hospital xrays spoke on phone to dr luke he suggested a follow up in 1 month to discuss the way forward..........guess what cant even get a phone consultation, this surgery needs investigating , or closing down..........

Been with this surgery since 2008. Its gone downhill so much I'm looking for a new practice. Doctors don't listen if you are lucky enough to speak to one. Dr. Grant was amazing but he has now left .Never get an appt. Due to stupid 8.00 am system. By 8.20 if you are lucky enough to get through, all appts gone!! Nurses and paramedics are the best though. Just wish its easier to get appt with one of them. Shame cos they used to be an amazing practice. Update. Can't find another doctor. Been trying for 3 weeks for an emergency appointment with grove Road and no luck. Even 111 can't get an appt for me. Absolutely disgusting. The surgery should be closed down! If they have no doctors how can it be called a Dr's surgery!!

Went to surgery today, for routine blood tests and BP check. They requested this visit!! On arrival, wrong blood tests ordered and they no longer check BP ? You have to go to the chemist and get it checked!!! What the hell is going on !! No communication and also, the new website is completely a waste of time, unable to navigate it.

Despite calling exactly at 8 o'clock, I was left waiting in the queue as the 27th caller. This is an appalling level of service and indicates that the practice is severely understaffed. The rude and abrupt attitude of the receptionists and the prolonged wait times make this practice a highly undesirable choice for anyone seeking medical assistance. The only positive aspect of this practice is Stewart, who provides some respite from the otherwise unsatisfactory service.

Stuart the senior practitioner is fantastic... But what's the use if you can't get an appointment?

I have called at 8 o clock for three days running now. Today I have waited 20 minutes to actually join the queue and have sat in the queue for a further 25 minutes, only for it to restart the queue every 2-3 minutes.

HIRE MORE STAFF, DONT TELL US YOU'RE BUSY.

I will be ditching this surgery today.
