I went to Vista health at Salford for an MRI scan, something I'd been told could take up to 10 months to get on the NHS.
Arrived at the clinic, the staff we're very polite efficient and helpful. I waited in the waiting room for around 15minutes. Then was taken down to the scanner. Still all very very professional. The Scan was done, and although they said pior to the scan the results could take 3 days. My findings we're received by me the following day. An excellent service.
We should need to use these private companies, but if you can afford the cost, which i have to say wasnt what id call excessive, I'd certainly recommend Vista.

Went to the Salford branch, easy to park which is a bonus to me. Got seen within 10 minutes, everything went smoothly, all explained, was warned I'd feel claustrophobic having an MRI but didn't feel like that at all. Reasonable price, results were in 3 days, really haven't got anything bad to say about the experience.
Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking whether they should go or not.

Wouldn't use again. MRI report was sent to the wrong GP email address so I had to chase up and get it resent; hadnt realised their error for some time so ended up waiting an extra 10 days for the result.

Overall okay. The private MRI I had was very quick. Obviously expensive but the cheapest and quickest I found. I wasn't told that I could speak in the MRI and that they could turn the aircon off. Since I had my entire spire scanned, I had to lie completely still for 45 mins which was extremely uncomfortable. My arm and hands went numb in the cold and when I said it was cold the man told me I could have said to turn the aircon off, although I thought being completely still meant I couldn't speak! 😂
The doctor I booked with for an appointment to explain my results was friendly at first but she said near the end of the call that it was coming to an end when I had questions regarding the results/my health. The email didn't state that the call was only 15 mins long and half of it was spent reading what I already knew and asking about my health condition before explaining the results. I found it very rude that she dismissed me and I didn't feel I could ask anymore questions to why I've had back ache for months on end. It wasn't worth the £40 to be told to do yoga and have correct posture!

I have recently used Vista Health on two separate occasions and both were positive experiences. I was able to get appointments very quickly and all customers service was impeccable. When undertaking the procedures all the staff members I dealt with were welcoming and reassuring. Felicity at the Liverpool centre was exceptionally good! (Thank you for putting me at ease, it’s very much appreciated!) This is the first time I have paid privately for diagnostic procedures and obviously there’s the cost consideration, however, I would definitely say the price is reasonable, especially for piece of mind. I would definitely recommend Vista Health and will use again in the future if the need arises. Thanks.

Terribly cold and unfriendly staff. At my appointment today a girl made a botched attempt at getting a cannula in my arm, it was very painful yet she kept pushing the needle in. She whispered to the doctor who came in afterwards that ‘it had failed’, no apology, no mention it would have to be done again etc. The doctor (I assume he was a doctor but had no introduction) did it in my other arm with no issues. Scan completed and then told to go to the waiting room for 15 minutes before leaving. Had to navigate my own way, no staff there to escort me out. It was so unprofessional and the NHS can do better than this. Ship the staff out and put staff in there who want to be there and who understand that a kind welcome and some reassurance when you’re having a scan is part of the job.

Lovely facilities, got booked in for an MRI within a couple of days of enquiring about it. Results, report and pictures, emailed to me 2 days later. Only downside is the cost but I guess that's private health care.
