I visited Vision Express on Tuesday afternoon. At my initial screening Hannah was super helpful and thorough with all the tests & questions. The optometrists was even better and very understanding. Both Hannah & Chloe were lovely and very chatty with helping me choose the correct glasses suited to me. Im not even having to wait a week to collect my new prescription. Really pleased with the service I received.

Staff were friendly, eye test was thorough, staff informed me of every step they did.
Optician was wonderful, very professional and did a fantastic job.
Also noticed how helpful the staff were with another customer, taking pictures for her to chose the best glasses for her style. Would highly recommend using this store.

Appalling service so far! Husband ordered 2 pairs reading glasses, one of the pairs were safety glasses. They took 8 weeks to arrive. Went to collect...safety glasses were fine, the others were distance glasses! They said they would order the correct perscription and send to our home. We have literally opened the package and there were no glasses in the case. This is beyond ridiculous! Spoke with the manager and he said they were in there - blaming us for an empty package...fuming doesn't come near how we feel.

Very poor service and staff- been waiting 3 weeks for new supply of contact lenses, called into store to check why only to find out staff had just re-ordered but not bothered to inform me, then contacted on phone by a very rude junior staff member who insisted a contact lens trial was required despite me having worn contact lenses for 30yrs.
Whoever it was needs further training in customer relations as they were not listening, rude and have zero people skills, being unable to explain properly why a trial fitment appointment for a repeat prescription and 3rd visit was needed for a simple re-supply of lenses.
The actual Optician was great, it's a real shame he's badly let down by unprofessional clerical staff support.
Will be taking my repeat business elsewhere after witnessing this amateur shower performing.

I had a great experience at Vision Express at Tesco.
I have been trialing contacts. Throughout the experience, Chloe has been fantastic, supportive and helped me from getting the contacts in and out and it has been very appreciated! Not only this but when I was waiting I noticed she treats everyone with the upmost respect! A credit to the Vision Express team!!

Great experience. All the staff I met were lovely, really easy to speak to and helpfully.
I didn't have to request a copy of my lens prescription it was automatically given to me. Brilliant range of glasses available and the payment scheme is very clever.
The person I spoke to was totally honest about the payment scheme in that it was to get customers to come back to them and the benefits are worth it. I was going to pay then and there, but after she explained the benefits at no extra cost, I went for the payment scheme.
This was my first experience with this opticians and I'm very happy with everything and would recommend them if you're looking to change who you're currently with.

Lovely optician and thorough but didn’t dawdle. Was slightly early for annual test and should have paid for the sight test but as my prescription had changed they waived the fee. Very good service.

Would not recommend this opticians at all. We queried the amount of contact lenses my daughter was receiving as we didn’t feel it was enough - the people dealing with us were contradicting each other! Finally got it sorted- went on a new plan upped our payment to £45, we decided this was too much, went to another optician got a better deal. Called and cancelled with Vision Express. Yesterday £45 was taken from my daughter’s bank. Went into store yesterday to be told the direct debit has been cancelled and it wasn’t them. Checked on the computer direct debit hadn’t been cancelled, the girl then dealing with us became as frustrated as we were and she finally found the payment and managed to get it refunded. She was so patient. Another member of staff was very dismissive of us and made us feel like we were making it up (this was the same member of staff who we spoke to on the first occasion) The girl dealing with us needs to give some oh her colleagues a lesson in customer services and basic manners.

We have all moved to a different opticians now.
