Village Farm Health Club

Me and my wife used to use this place when we were on holiday at Village Farm (twice a year for 6 years) I then became a member and used the health club when we were in the area. Eventually we got a flat in Alnwick and now we use it all the time. We both love it here. Extremely friendly staff that always make the time to talk to you. Great facilities and a nice place to unwind. It may be smaller than other health clubs, but the benefits are that it is usually quiet. We hope to continue using this place for a long time

Well run, Clean facilities. Helpful friendly staff. What's not to like!

I was just severely harassed by two of their clients whilst trying to enter the club, they chased me inside the building and continued to hurl abuse at me, the staff stood by and did nothing. I contacted the owner and he didn’t care and said “I will back my employees to the hilt, no matter what they do”. Unfortunately, this was one of many issues I’ve faced, and the last straw. I have also had many possessions stolen from the club over the years as they demand you leave all of your belongings in an unguarded basket in the public changing room which anyone can help themselves to. My mother was verbally abused whilst swimming as one of the entitled members wanted to swim in the lane she was swimming in, so this women stood in front of her and blocked her from swimming?!?!? Staff didn’t care!! My mother was so upset she never returned.

Bought a voucher for 5 day passes and first visit was on a Sunday afternoon. Changing rooms and Pool area clean and at a nice temperature. Pool could be a couple of degrees cooler, but that's just my opinion - it is however a nice warm pool to get in to. The swimming pool floor could do with a little clean and there was a small piece of tissue floating around the bottom. A 20m pool, which is the same depth throughout (around 1.2m) when busy with kids means adequate space is a struggle if you want to have a proper swim, however, if you go after 4pm the kids dissipate, the lessons in one of the two lanes finishes and there's plenty of space. The jacuzzi was nice, the steam room was too hot beyond 10 minutes, and the sauna was not at the right temperature as there was a puddle-like collection of water on the floor, however, we still enjoyed our visit and will be back to use our remaining passes.

To small for me. It seems to several rooms all connected which might suit some people but felt to cramped for me. Also the swimming pool is too small for my liking. Also, there isn’t much parking which could prove to be very frustrating unless your a local.

Fab place pool is great kids love going on a weekend, mum loves the grown up only area with the hot tub and heated stone beds

It wasn't as good as its been over the past 10 years. 1 hr slots, when you're sold with cottages that it's available all weekend.

Great place to stay. Lovely staff. Brilliant area with plenty to do.
