I had had to go to Vale today due to tonsillitis, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the care I received. The entire staff were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. Nik and Andy were especially helpful, providing excellent support and making sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. I’m so grateful for their compassion and care. I highly recommend Vale for anyone in need of medical attention – they truly go above and beyond!

We are so lucky to have this brilliant facility on our doorstep. I’ve used them several times for minor injuries (pulled ligaments, bumps, cuts and bruises after a fall etc) and each time they’ve been very helpful, thorough and friendly. Sometimes you need A&E at a bigger hospital but in other cases The Vale is excellent. They also have a very good Physio department who have now helped me on more than one occasion. Thank you 🤩

Had our daughter staying with us after knee operation. The vale very kindly removed the clips from her leg which saved us a 160 mile round trip back to her doctors in South wales. Thank you to the triage nurse who performed this procedure for our daughter.

Had to use the Minor Injuries unit at the weekend as Gloucester was full, but very glad to be referred to here. The hospital is clean and welcoming and the staff are just lovely! Had to return today for a dressing change and there was a Happy Mothers Day banner up, the lady on reception Maxine then gave my son a few chocolates with Happy Mother’s Day on which I thought was so thoughtful and nice. It was obvious that she had taken time to produce these little presents off of her own back to cheer people up. The care given by Laura was lovely and it is obvious that the team really care for others 🙂

Excellent service, absolute credit to the NHS. Dropped in with my daughter and we were met by a warm, kind and welcoming nurse. My daughter was soon assessed by Sarah who was reassuring and brilliant from start to finish! Thank you, so appreciated!

Great hospital, great team and always happy and attentive if you are going in! Fantastic MIU for helping the local area!

Online triage can be long with my last call being over 2 hours before getting through to the reception. This includes an automatic cut off of my call every 35 mins despite the que.

But the staff who picked up were kind and try to place you where is best for your individual needs.
