I wouldn't trust these lot to take care of a hamster.

My father was only 57 when he passed away and his physical decline while in Tynefield was rapid. Right up until the point of his death. Upon collection of his belongings no words of condolences or even pretending to care.

Take care of your own relatives and love them. To these people it's just a job and most don't care at all!

I was the hairdresser there for 11 years, I helped with Christmas parties, fund raising events and much more. The carers are wonderful but the sane can't be said for the management.

When Covid struck and outsiders weren't allowed in, I had to stop doing the residents hair.

During this time, I set up a group, we collected over 11000 items of toiletries for hospitals and care homes. I took to them 4 full carrier bags to make life better for the residents and staff. To this day I have never heard from them, wasn't kept posted as to when I could go back to work and never received so much as a message asking how I was.
And this is what 11 years of commitment meant to them!

I must add, the Staff are amazing, they look after the residents impeccably.

This is what a care home should be like. Excellent caring staff, a homely environment, good food and a lot of it even supper...nothing is too much trouble. Our family were made to feel part of the home like one big family. It was lovely to see residents engage in different activities each day. BBQ's, coffee mornings etc. They are even going to the zoo. We felt extremely relaxed leaving wife/mum in their capable hands. It was like a hotel. Sophia is a new manager to Tynefield and the owner must be very proud of her and the team. Dad and I are extremely grateful for the care they have given to my mum.

I think this isn't care home it is a torture home , neglecting and careless to poor disabled people inside.
Many injuries accidents happen inside silently.
No CCTV inside to discover what happened , while small grocery has a full CCTV these a days.
I recommend everyone to take out his patient out of this butchery home.
