Disgustingly rude receptionist team - absolutely no empathy for people facing life changing diagnosis / no desire to help with regards to booking appointments for essential bloods etc so upsetting. Moreover the doctors also don’t seem to care. Dr White seems to have some element of care about her but the male dr/ owner of the practice is ridiculous - no empathy and didn’t even seem to read my notes and still has written an incorrect diagnosis on my file. Sadly NHS - no help service. Depressing.

The pharmacy team were very helpful both over the phone and when I then visited in person later on. The friendly staff were quick and helpful!

Carol the receptionist needs training asap.
Dr Pope also needs a refresher as to what services the NHS offer its patients and when.

Well done front of house. I came in for advice thinking I new what I wanted. The young lady Clare I think? She advised me that I was wrong and then gave me pills that was more suitable for my needs. Which was amazing they worked so quick I'm almost pain free within a hour. Thanks Well done.

Just rang at 8:30am this morning asking for an emergency appointment and had the most rudest and unsympathetic receptionist I have ever dealt with at this surgery. I explained the situation I am in and can’t sit for an hour or so for a walk in and really need to see someone (just had lower spine surgery) and she was like well unfortunately it’s walkin or nothing and was extremely rude and sarcastic. Utterly, disgusting behaviour. Please listen back to the recording and give her some much needed training.

I’ve also had so many complications with ordering and receiving dressings for my back. Some dressings I ordered 16th may are still not ready and there excuse is always “oh well it didn’t come in”. There are some fantastic staff at this practice but today was the straw that broke the camels back and I feel compelled to write to the commissioner.

I'm revisiting this review a year later, and I can still give them 5 stars. They have a wonderful team of trainee GPs who are keen, calm, and dedicated to caring for their patients. We are so lucky to have such a good surgery on our doorstep.

Partner has gd and had to go for appointments and collect medication from here. Surgery staff beyond arrogant, unhelpful and smug. One particular member of staff told partner we get hundreds of requests a day and to stop wasting our time. Almost playing up to Streetings intention to force private. With attitudes displayed from certain staff members as such, on repeated basis, it’s no wonder they’re struggling.
However, the staff who have been helpful have gone out of their way to almost make up for it. Think Surgery staff need a serious retraining programme or at least review of which staff are actually able to answer a phone and act like an employee rather than treat actual patients like scum. Disgraceful

It's a tough place to be in recent years, in a Doctors surgery, whether as a patient, admin staff, nurse or a Dr. All Doctors surgeries have always been busy, under high demand and always appear to have overworked stressed admin/reception staff dealing with people who are ill and as such often at the shortest tempers. I have only lived in the area about 6-7years and I have 90% of the time found everyone to be caring and supportive people. We are all human, we all have our own stresses and strains to deal with. The Drs and staff have theirs too, so I can understand if they can be a little off sometimes. It frustrates me when people say things like if staff can't be professional they shouldn't be in the job. We are all human, if everyone who lost it on the odd occasion didn't do the job, we wouldn't have the care we get.

Politics are already trying to screw over the NHS, don't help their cause. Support good village surgeries like this where they actually do know your name. I can wholly say a huge thank you to this surgery. They have genuinely saved my life and continue to care for me, as does the pharmacy who are kind and do their best to be helpful.
