I cannot recommend Tom Gutteridge Osteopaths highly enough. 🙌

In 2019, I suffered from a severe slipped disc that left me unable to walk. 😷 After an MRI scan, it was confirmed that I had slipped discs, and I was offered keyhole surgery. I was back and forth with doctors and on heavy medication. At one point, the medication was so strong that I started frothing at the mouth, and my speech became so slurred that people couldn’t even understand me. I can't begin to describe how bad it was. I hit such a low point that I was stuck on the floor for weeks—about three weeks—unable to move, thinking I might never walk again.

It wasn’t until someone advised me to reach out to Tom that things finally changed. 🌟 When I first saw Tom at his old premises, I was completely dependent on crutches. He reassured me that, instead of surgery, with 8 to 12 sessions, he could get me back on my feet—and he did just that! 🙌 Within 8 to 10 weeks, I was walking again, and his advice to keep moving played a huge role in my recovery.

Now, years later, I found myself experiencing pain again—not the same as a slipped disc, but more of a nerve impingement pain around my glute area and shoulder. I initially thought it might be related to my discs, but after Tom assessed me, he confirmed it was a nerve impingement. After just one session of manipulation and adjustments, I already feel significant relief and have a follow-up booked for next week. 💪

Beyond his incredible skill, Tom is genuinely kind and caring. ❤️ Back in 2019, my uncle, who is paralyzed on one side of his body, was visiting from abroad. Tom took the time to treat him, making him feel completely at ease within minutes. His kindness and compassion have left a lasting impact on me and my family.

Just like his old place, Tom’s new clinic is incredibly welcoming. 🏢 The reception team is warm and friendly, and the whole environment is cosy, making it a comfortable place to receive treatment. From start to finish, the experience is as reassuring as it is professional.

I am truly grateful for everything Tom has done. His expertise, professionalism, and kindness make all the difference. If you need an osteopath, I wholeheartedly recommend him! ✨🙏

I had my first visit with Tom today following a 2 week bout of neuralgia. I was greeted by the receptionist who was warm, welcoming and efficient. Tom was friendly and engaging whilst listening to my complaints, and within a few minutes he had a pretty good idea of the cause of my pain. After some stretching, cracking, manipulation and accupuncture I already feel relief. I will be back to hopefully correct my posture enough to avoid such debilitating nerve pain in future.

It was the best decision I could have made as not only did he give me a diagnosis but within a few visits I was able to get on with things without painkillers. Knows his stuff. Tom's practice is now in new premises in Brinscall and parking is good.
