This is an excellent hotel resort with lovely grounds and leisure centre. The apartment we had was 51 Lune which was a 2 bedroom apartment in a quiet part of the grounds. The apartment was very big with a large double bedroom with ensuite, second bedroom with twin beds and a very comfortable large sofa bed in the living room. It has a full kitchen with washing machine. The main bathroom has a large shower and double sink. It was excellent value for money for the 1 nght we stayed. We dined at the Lemon Tree restaurant in the hotel and the food we had included the beef and lamb which were both excellent and the prices are very reasonable.

We had a lovely time at Thunham Hall! We wished we had chosen to stay there for the longer part of our stay in England. I would have enjoyed all ten days there! We enjoyed the sheep and feeding the ducks. The grounds were well maintained, and I can only imagine how lovely it will be when everything is in bloom! Our room itself was pleasant, and you felt like you'd gone back in time! The small kitchen was awesome and the bathroom also! We had a huge old fireplace in the living/dining room area! The restaurant was also wonderful! The staff was friendly and helpful! You will need a car while staying there.

thoroughly enjoyed our short break stay at Thurnham Hall. We stayed in a clean, characterful, spacious & well equipped studio apartment inside the hall. The grounds were well kept, containing other apartments and a childrens playground. The leisure center seemed well equipped, good sized pool, jacuzzi & sauna. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent stay. We will be back.

The place is stunning with equally stunning countryside. Very quiet. Only the birds singing could be heard. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The accommodation was excellent and the lady who prepared my room made a Swan out of two towels! I think her name was Alecya ( forgive my spelling). Also spoke to Dan via their text messaging service. Such a polite chap.
Also spoke to two different receptionists, both lovely (although their names elude me).
I was there for three nights. Great place for a little retreat. Local walks were close and really good. Even the sheep and cows were well behaved!!

All in all a fantastic place to stay. Well done to all involved!

We are currently at Thurnham Hall and I am in love with this beautiful place. When we arrived we met two amazing reception staff (apologies I didn't get your names). We were given all the information we needed with friendly, helpful staff. We were then directed to our accommodation and all I can say it is the best. This place is lovely and clean and is set in such beautiful grounds. I have a lot of caring responsibilities at the minute and to be able to come and be welcomed and looked after so well means the world. No need to go abroad get yourselves here it's beautiful. Last night we ate in the Lemon tree. The sea bass and roast beef dinner were amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed cheese and biscuits and my husband chose to the cheese cake. The only disappointment was the cheese cake. My hubby was hoping for a nice slice of cheesecake but it was served in a glass pot and was mainly cream. I'm sure most people would like this and maybe he chose wrongly. The upside was we were served by very friendly staff who looked after us very well and the food is delicious and very well presented. The Lemon tree is a beautiful little restaurant and we will certainly be visiting again. Thankyou Thurnham Hall for making our stay so relaxing

Stayed for couple of nights in Thurnham Hall. Quite location to relax and unwind.
Rooms are spacious and well equipped with all the self catering facilities. Environment friendly toilet rolls and kitchen towel . Safe kids play area and pool close to rooms . Beautiful grounds around the hall. Checkin was quick and easy. No family change room in pool area. Pool , sauna and jacuzzi are clean and good condition. I loved the extended conservatory in our room. Small gym with basic equipment. Staff are friendly and helpful with smile.

This complex is set in the middle of nowhere, with apartments located close by to the old Hall.
The apartment I stayed in was a 2 bedroom ground floor, with kitchen and 2 bathrooms.
It's massive and could easily accommodate a large family.
Would absolutely stay here again.

If you like fast Internet, night life, deliveroo & other convenience...this isn't for you. If you just want to get lost in some well maintained grounds of an old English hall, where the only sounds you will here are those of nature surrounding you...this is for you.

From the moment we arrived until our departure, the team at Thurnham Hall could not have been more friendly and helpful. We only stayed 2 nights but thoroughly enjoyed the break and will be coming back! Add in wonderful food in the Lemon Tree restaurant - well earned after a walk alongside the canal to Glasson Dock!
