Just had an appointment here and got to see a lovely doctor. Was really impressed with her and the way she treated me a real credit to the profession. Cannot recommend her enough. Thank you for your time

I don't know how this surgery has an average of 4+ stars? Perhaps the high reviews were from earlier years when this surgery was good? I have now moved because it was pointless being registered here. Can't get access to a GP, full stop. Almost impossible unless you have an actual emergency - this is not the point of a GP. A&E is for emergencies. You have to ring this surgery for an endless amount of time on hold at 8am or 2pm ... just to ask for a call back which could be at any time of day to be triaged. Such a waste of time and stressful. You can't even guarantee the surgery will answer at these times either. I want a GP I can ring and book an appointment within a couple of weeks. Gone are the days you had a Dr you actually know! The system is so broken. There is no GP service at this surgery. They have too many patients. Move on to a better one!

I've phoned 3 times and on all occasions after waiting on the phone and listening to a terrible auto msg that sounds like it's under water one moment and then it sounds like you've been cut off the next I finally get to speak to a receptionist who hung up on me after saying hello only twice . I rang back only to be put in the Queue again only to be hung up on again. I gave up and decided to wait for the morning surgery to reopen and after being on the phone for 23 minutes waiting a lady answered the phone only to tell me that the Dr was only taking Urgent calls today before I had told her about my condition .After she had asked this she told me to go to the walk in clinic at 6.30 pm? If people needed urgent medical treatment ,surely they would go either to A and E or phone 111.? . I would like to stress I'm Sat down and not moving about whilst taking the calls so I don't know why they kept hanging up ? .Adding up the time I've tried to get the appt was around an hours time and I got nowhere. I also have to go to work . I've decided to try and get rid of this chesty cough that I have had since beginning of December through natural remedies , after a week I still have a bad cough . The staff are always lovely ,but the system isn't working .

Rang at 8.30am to ascertain an appointment for my Grandaughters chest, I was told the GP would ring me back three & a half hours later I ring again to find nothing reported or even logged to the GP, and told to ring back at noon to see if we can get an appointment later today, do these receptionists know their job ?

Moved to the area recently. I've got an autoimmune disease which means I have to take medication daily. Trying to get anyone to talk to outside my working hours was impossible. Such a simple thing to over complicate.

Getting worse and worse by the day. Have had to wait between six weeks to a month to get any sort of an appointment when I did the doctor I saw was uninterested and unhelpful. A lot of the practice nurses for blood pressure and asthma have been moved elsewhere and now getting a repeat prescription is a farce.
Very soon they will be burying their mistakes at the cemetery unless they shut the surgery first.

This is still a good surgery however due to it being bought out and it being part of a chain rather than it's own private surgery, most of the more popular doctors have left
