The Horn Lane Surgery

I’ve had a really positive experience with Horn Lane Surgery. They always offer same-day appointments when I call, which is incredibly helpful. Even when I had an appointment booked two weeks in advance, they contacted me after receiving my hospital scan results and brought me in the same day because it was urgent , I really appreciated how proactive they were. They also don’t hesitate to refer you to hospital specialists when needed, and the whole team is friendly and supportive. Very happy with the care I’ve received.

I’ve been registered with this surgery for over a year now and have visited multiple times, so this review is based on ongoing experience rather than a one-off visit. All the staff, from the reception team to the doctors are genuinely kind, professional, and always do their best to accommodate appointments and be flexible, even though it’s quite a busy practice. You usually need to call to book an appointment, but they’re very quick and efficient in responding. Because the surgery works in partnership with Kings College and Imperial College universities, there are sometimes medical students present during consultations. However, you can always request for the student not to be in the room if you prefer, and the staff are very understanding about that. Overall, it’s a great GP surgery that provides consistent, caring service, and I really appreciate how supportive and attentive the whole team is.

I have had appointments with Dr Sandip Gurung a few times and he quickly assesses the situation in order to aid patients. Whilst it's true to say that the NHS and Doctors are extremely stretched Dr Sandip always tries to think in a practical way in which is in the best needs of the patient - this is not always easy to find. You can tell he is well matched to the profession and he is a good doctor and a credit to the surgery and his profession. I'm grateful for all his help. Thank you.

I recently registered my elderly mum of 84 at this practice.Firstly every receptionist I have spoken to have been extremely helpful kind and understanding. This evening I had a call booked to review my mum’s medication as she had just recently come out of hospital.i had the pleasure to speak to a Dr Hershey please excuse if spelt incorrectly.Bearing in mind it was almost the end of the day he spent almost 40 minutes discussing my Mum and my various questions and concerns.In all my years of been registered at Practices in London no one has ever given me this amount of time and been so compassionate?empathetic and just everything one should expect from a GP but very often this just doesn’t happen.I actually ended my call and shared with my niece what a wonderful man he really was. Clearly someone who really loves and cares for people. I absolutely registered my Mum at the right practice and just wanted to write this review on this GP specifically as he really is a credit to the NHS Thanks to everyone at Horn Lane Surgery and for your continued care and help with my Mum

Very attentive and very kind staff and doctors 🤍 haven’t ever had a better experience with any other surgeries, hopefully would never need to move away from them 🥺

Reception staff are always friendly and helpful, and the GPs are efficient and on the ball. After a recent hospital stay they followed up quickly afterwards to arrange follow-up tests etc. I’ve found it easy to book in for appointments too.
