Escape here for just an hour and leave like you’ve been on a restorative retreat.

This beautiful place is my little spot of heaven - filled with all the good energy. I attend Thursday morning yoga throughout the year and the fabulous yurts are kept at the perfect temperature for us by the lovely couple who own the centre. I have attended afternoons of yoga bliss and also seen the Emotional Freedom Technique practitioner in both of the amazing and versatile yurts.

We are so lucky in the Eastbourne area to have this amazing place. The second I pull up at this green, peaceful and tranquil spot I feel like I am in a secret place, my breath slows and my shoulders release and I feel truly blessed.

And watching the seasons change is magical.

What a wonder.

Another wonderful experience in this beautiful location today. This is the third yoga / healing workshop I have participated in in the Big Yurt at The Well Being Centre. What a lovely place for time out and to take care of my own well being. Thank you to everyone involved in creating such a great space. Namaste X

I have just facilitated three workshops in the large Yurt and all the participants were so impressed and felt the wonderful healing energy that is building day by day at the Centre. Yoga, healing and spiritual work all contributes to this beautiful energy and Jon, Becky Nick and all the other
teachers and visitors add to making this a very special place.

This place is organised by Nick Neter, a Shiatsu practitioner.
I would like to write a constructive criticism about my friend's experience.
This place is in 2 yurts, and there is no water supply, no toilets. When I went there for a treatment, I was told there is a hand-made natural toilet, which I would never want to go.

The two yurts are too hot, and in spring and summer time, there are always insects INSIDE the treatment rooms.
Also they do not wash their cups with fresh water, because there is no water supply.

I don't know how they manage it. When they organise Shiatsu clinic, there are some people visiting the place, having tea or coffee. However, I don't know how they wash their cups. I don't think it's hygienic. As a practitioner his job is to keep the treatment room clean and safe. I have never felt safe in the place.

My friend is from Japan and she told me what they understand 'Ki' is different from what Japanese people think. In Japan 'Ki' is something in between substance and non-substance. However what they think of 'Ki' is something spiritual.

Years before I had seen an English man who studied Shiatsu in Japan, and his explanation of 'Ki' is perfect, and my friend was happy with him. My friend told me there are 2 or 3 Shiatsu schools, and some of them are good, some are not. It seems what they were taught was totally different from how the English man in Brighton was taught.

However the farmers who helped him developing the yurts are very friendly and really nice. It's shame they had to work with there people.
