We booked the medium meeting room and it was unbelievably filthy. When we arrived, they ASKED if we wanted them to clean it. I'm so sorry but shouldn't that be the default?

There was dirt and litter on the floor, desks, and chairs. The room didn't even have a bin, which meant we awkwardly had to pile garbage on a desk.

Place needs to get back to it's old standards. The waitress needs to not fall asleep on the job. This is immoral and shows lack of customer care and empathy. Also could pose hygiene issues if she is leaning on her hands.

This is an excellent cafe, and the vegan food is first class. The staff are very friendly, and make you feel welcome. The people who visit, tend to be the studious types, looking for a better World. The atmosphere of the place has a kind of bohemian, retro feel to it. There is a cosy ambience. I can sit in this cafe, which you wouldn't believe is located so near to the city centre, and while away some time in quiet contemplation. The people move around out there like ants, in this vast concrete jungle, but I can sit here and not worry about a thing. An excellent cafe to sit and unwind. A perfect little place to escape from the mad, mad, rat race.

We had hired space upstairs and came down for lunch. What's great about here is you can look at the menu and choose no having the conversation is it vegan/can I have oat milk instead of etc. Lovely tasty food in a rustic setting.
